Reply to James Stewart rides MX 5/12/2009 11:24 PM

As much as I am a fan of Suzuki first, I have to give James props. He has a tremendous ability to keep the bike on the ground and driving forward like no one I've ever seen. Great video for sure!

How much closer can you get than 4 points? You talk like James Stewart had a cake walk in the SX series this year.

It was an exciting SX series for sure. I look forward to the start of the outdoor season. I think it is going to be a good one!

How many posts are you going to post tonight saying the same crap? Why don't you just use the same thread instead of cluttering up the place?

Between the first video and the following video Chad went from being about 2 inches behind James in the corner to about 10 - 15 bike lengths behind at the end of the whoop section. Anyone that says the move didn't hold Chad up isn't watching the video. ... more »

I think they were (are) both smooth as silk on a motocross bike. I would take either one's talent!

This looks pretty smooth to me, especially considering he is riding a 500cc two stroke. It's hard to be smooth on a bike with so much power. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RizD8DeaG8g

I've got to agree with you there.

Depending on the type of riding we are talking about, I can't see leaving Malcolm Smith off of a list talking about "smooth" riders.

No, us here 'hicks' in Arkansas don't understand the fancy talk you speak down in Texas. I guess that is why I was so lost by your comments.

I thought part of racing was staying on two wheels. Is it Reed's fault that Stewart fell? I thought if you finished in front of another racer that meant you beat him. Maybe it means something different in Texas.

My belief is that the reason Stewart ran Reed down was because he was riding over his head. When he does that he is extremely fast, but it normally leads to a crash. That is why he has always been prone to crash when he comes under pressure from another ... more »
