Now that Benoit has to move up to 450's after 2 MX2 titles in a row, the 2-stroke threat won't be nearly as strong in Canada next season. I personally don't think the results would've changed much with a different bike. Benoit is hot right now and his

Kyle Regal turned some heads and placed 10 overall in the 450 class on a Husky 250 2-stroke!! In the sand! He is quoted in the link above: “Southwick is hard-pack compared to this place!”

I think now what is really pissing off the CMRC is that despite their best efforts, he is still winning!! On a bone stock 250 SX with an FMF pipe and silencer.

Reply to Benoit on two stroke 6/26/2015 8:32 AM

Last year he switched between 2 & 4 stroke depending on the track. This year they changed the rules and now a rider that starts the series on a 2-stroke has to stay on a 2-stroke. They also changed the engine rules where the 2-stroke has to be bone ... more »

That HAS to be a be a pain in the ass for the 4-stroke lovers!! Stock cylinder, stock head, stock piston. They opened up his engine and found..........nothing. All stock. How do you justify building a time-bomb 50 +hp 250 4-stroke when you can put decent ... more »

Maybe Fox Sports wants to appeal to the old school demographic and are dubbing in a 2-stroke soundtrack. Kinda like when the cars on Dukes of Hazzard squealed the tires on dirt roads!!
