And then, as I was about to give up trying to sell my car, some dude emails me yesterday with the old "is it still available?". I replied "yes", and figured that would be the last I heard from him. He asked if he could come see it, so I arranged to meet ... more »

Yeah, and apparently the vast majority of people eat that crap up. Personally, I'd rather get a root canal than watch one of those.

New thread Cheesy stunts in movies 6/20/2020 7:23 AM

I can't be the only one who would like to see movies made with realistic stunts. I totally lose interest when the movie completely loses touch with reality. The fight scene where two guys (or better yet, a man and a woman) beat on each other with crowbars ... more »

Reply to If I'm Cooper Webb.... 6/16/2020 6:27 AM

In that photo you can clearly see Tomac ramming Webb's swingarm. Pretty obvious he was trying to take Webb out. When is someone going to put a stop to Tomac's dirty antics?! Sarcasm, for those of you who are a little slow on the uptake.

Reply to Does Webb take out Tomac? 6/15/2020 9:26 AM

Had Tomac gone down, I would have said that he was stupid to not anticipate that from Webb. After all, he knew that Webb was right beside him on the gate, and had to know that if Webb beat him to the first turn, he would need to give Webb lots of room. ... more »

Reply to Does Webb take out Tomac? 6/15/2020 5:48 AM

In Webb's position, I would have done exactly what he did, and in Tomac's position, I would have anticipated Webb doing what he did. It's racing. Some of you sunflowers need to grow a spine. Tomac showed great skill in staying upright after that little ... more »

As to common courtesy, another thing that really irritates me is friends/relatives who refuse to commit to anything. You plan something, and even tell them that you NEED to know if they will be there, and they still either say something like "I'll see ... more »

I don't generally give my exact location, but arrange to meet them nearby. One exception was a couple of years ago when I sold an old non running pickup for $500. I gave the buyer my home address, and he showed up open carrying. Of course I was open ... more »

New thread No show "buyers" 6/8/2020 4:49 AM

Probably been discussed here before, but I just need to vent a bit. I have a car that I am trying to sell, and I can't figure out why so many people will express interest, set up a time and place to check it out, then never show up. Some will cancel ... more »

Used to love that track. So many different options, seems like the track was different every time I raced there. Been a lot of years though.

I see that there is no attempt made to enforce rules/laws in one situation.

Non compliance WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! Gather in huge crowds to assault, set fires, and loot without a mask if you wish. However, anyone not participating in those activities WILL WEAR A MASK!
