The hand guards are a set of NOS Acerbis ones that I found on eBay. They are actually GYTR Yamaha ones, but everything worked ok. The only thing that's different is the way the front brake line attaches to the master cylinder so where the hand guard ... more »

I made a small amount of progress over the weekend. A few more pieced and the chassis will be complete, graphics, seat covers and wheels. I'm still not sure what my plan is for graphics.

I was able to work on the bike a little over the weekend. After looking everything over and trying to find some parts, I think I'm going to go a different route with this bike. I built my KX as a bike that a privateer would have rode in 1993, I think

Pulled the bike out last night and rode it around the yard. I need to get a few good pictures of the completed bike. My boy decided he wanted to ride in front of the bike while I was taking pictures.

A few days ago I was looking through eBay when a pipe for a 92-93 popped up. It looked like it was a stock pipe, I went ahead a bought it. A few days later it showed up at the house, after I got it out of the box I realized it was an original Pro Circuit

So a small update on the bike. I finally figured out the clutch issue. The bike must have set for a while with crappy oil in the transmission. I flushed the transmission out and put new oil in, rode the bike around the yard and got the clutch good and

I have a full seat with a pretty new all black ribbed seat cover with the Husky logo on the rear. I would be willing to part with the whole seat if interested.

Well the bike is pretty much finished, if they ever are finished. I'm still having trouble getting the clutch to release. I'm very happy with the way the bike turned out. I've pretty much touched every piece of the bike.
