Mick 22 and OldProro277 I stand corrected Yes that is correct. The early 1975s were indeed TMs and later in the year(75) Suzuki introduced the RM 125.(with the down pipe) In fact my buddy had on of these.

For sure it's a 73, 74 or 75 TM. The RM series came out in 76. The rear frame loop which would also aid in mounting the fender, if it had one🤣accounts for that fact. There are some non-stock "quirky" pieces on the bike that are a bit confusing however.🤔 ... more »

Absolutely a cool photo of your "young" parents. I bought a brand new 74 TM125 back in the day. Also restored one in 1987, as shown in my "then" collection of restorations. Good luck with the fun project.

Back in the 90's the thought was a 4 stroke motor had to be double the displacement of the 2 stroke in order to be competitive. Well that "thought" was wrong. Now that we have been enlighten and know the truth what are we going to do about it AMA?
