Added reply in a thread Anyone have any experience with cordless pressure washers? 7/17/2020 11:20 AM

Same, I didn't purchase one but used a buddies at the track. He even had an adapter that would connect to a 2 liter soda bottle. In the end, my bike stayed pretty dirty, pressure and volume output just wasn't there. He was using it for his kids bikes ... more »

Added reply in a thread First Time Bike Buyer: 250f vs 450 7/17/2020 7:41 AM

I agree, just providing numbers. Modern motocross bikes are all about power delivery. David Pingree recently had an article where he compared a couple bikes. One heavily modified from a race team, one slightly less. Dyno numbers were nearly identical ... more »

Technically, by the numbers, the Yamaha actually has the lowest peak torque of all the manufactures in 2020 at 18.53 ft/lbs. KTM/Husky with the top at 19.3 ft/lbs. Butt dyno may feel different. 100% agree on the other points. Suspension is as good as ... more »

I think its a piece inside number 3. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Aftermarket kicker might be cheaper than OEM. Pretty sure I worked on a 50sx mini that was doing the same thing and that was what fixed it.

That one always blew my mind too. Must have been some other factors at play but I bet that one was a tough pill to swallow.

Added reply in a thread First Time Bike Buyer: 250f vs 450 7/15/2020 7:32 AM

I had the same debate about 5 years back. Came off 125s and was given the same advice about 450s, you'll never be wishing you had more power. So I bought a 450. No jump was too big and a could screw up a corner, hold it wide, and make up time. However, ... more »

Added reply in a thread PW50 7/14/2020 7:42 AM

Pump fuel without ethanol will work fine. Make sure for the engine oil you use 2 stroke oil that is meant for injection systems, assuming this PW still has it and it hasn't been bypassed. Crankcase oil drain is right below the left footpeg if I remember ... more »

Anyone ever foamed their handlebars or used Barsnake? Feedback is hit and miss. Some say it deadens bar vibration a good bit, others say they thought maybe very little and maybe mostly mental. Anyone tried it?

Worthwhile investment then you'd say? I've been wanting to try something and am fine with spending the money. Just curious about these with the price point they are at.

Check on a site like RockyMountainATVMC. They have oem parts diagrams. Compare the part numbers. Id say try the RM85. Chances are they used the same caliper.

I know this has been talked about in another thread but if I remember right it ended with that Sunoco used oxygenated fuel and that was a no-no to most. I looked on their website and they do offer a couple fuels that are not oxygenated and ethanol free ... more »
