Hey Mike. It's the standard Pro Circuit Works pipe and the regular PC R-304 silencer. :-)
Seemed a pretty good buy when I bought it and brought the bike out to my local track to test it and that pipe/silencer-combo kills it. Seems like the powerband broadened quite a bit and it still has the hysterical 2-stroke hit.

Ah okey sweet! Yeah well thats the most fun of it, the two stroke hit when everysingle hp explodes in one instant burst !!

Considering how long ago the McGrath/KTM thing was, I would imagine that it wouldn't be as affective on the current engine as say PC's standard exhaust would, which has seen continued development.

You're probably right ML512, even though the 2-stroke hasn't seen much develpment recent years. I wonder how far the two-stroke engine would have been developed if it hadn't been for the thumpers!

True, this i what the KTM loving mag MXA said back in 012 and yeah we all know their crush on the orange katooms but still some interesting facts. :

What is it: Pro Circuits 2012 KTM 250 sx pipe and silence boost horsepower across the middle of the range and add much needed top-end power.

What´s It Cost? $229.95 (pipe only); $119.95 (R304 SIlencer).

Whats Stands out Here´s alit of things that stand out with the Pro Circuit 2012 KTM 250 SX pipe and silencer.

(1). History. When Jeremy Mcgrath signed with KTM for 2003 season, he enlisted Pro Circuits aid in building him the best ehaust system. Although Jeremy got hurt and never racerd the KTM, ProCircuit was able to use Jerem´s extensive testing to get a big jump-start on building KTM systems. The result of that labor have been seen in every Pro Circuit KTM twostroke- it was even called the "Jeremy McCgrath pipe for several years.

(2)Power. In stock trim, the KTM sx 250sx makes the most horsepower of any 250cc twostroke sold. It peaks at an amazing 50 horsepower just shy of 8400 rpm. If the 2012 KTM has weak link, it is that the power dosent´do much after peak--and,in fact, drops of to 44 horsepower by 9000 rpm. Bolting the Pro Circuit pipe onto the stock 2012 KTM 250SX dosen´t add or subtract any power from idle to 8000 rpm, but from that point on, it kicks into overdrive. At 8500 rpm it made a half horse more. At 9000 rpm, the Pro Circuit pipe made 5-1/4 hosepower over the stock. And at 9500, it is making an amazing seven horses more. Those extra on the high end of the rpm scale are the meat of the 2012 powerband. They are at the pointy end of spear and can be used effectively because they represent added strenght where it is needed most.

(3)R304 silencer. Althought we ran the Pro Circuit pipe and R304 silencer together, we wanted to see what the Pro Circuit silencer would do when mated to stock KTM exhaust system.. Suprise! The R304 silencer pumped peak horsepower up to 41 ponies and added two horses to the powerband from 8600 rpm to 10,000 rpm . If you can´t afford the Pro Circuit pipe and silencer combo, then just buy the R304 silencer --- it´s that good.

(4) Installation. Installin a two-stroke pipe is a breeze compared to a four-stroke exhaust. Pro Circuit´s R304 silencer includes the rubber grommets and longerbolts. The pro Circuit KTM 250SX is avalable in raw metal and chrome-plated versions.

(5) Place of manufacture. The Pro Circuit exhaust is made in Corona California.

WHATS THE SQUAWK? No major complaints

So basically the latest Pro Circuit pipes for the KTM two stroke market is based of that Mcgrath pipe/silencer so there is no mcgrath combo anymore, and i assume the latest two stroke 15 bike is even a bit better than the 12 was.
