Added reply in a thread VP Fuel in Northern Virginia??? 10/16/2019 9:57 AM

If you're going to the Ironman GNCC, DeRisi racing should have all different varieties of VP available Friday and Saturday. Or, you could call Lojak's cycle in PA and have them bring what ever you need to the Ironman GNCC

Added reply in a thread What's Chad doing? 10/16/2019 9:28 AM

If you can't understand why he's still racing dirt bikes, perhaps you don't understand what drives most of us who ride... He's not doing it for $$ at this point. Reed is still doing it because he loves it. He's even said that in recent interviews

Standard springs should be fine for you. According to Honda, the bike is sprung for a 150-170lb rider

The different is minimal, and when I get stuck at a bottleneck, or I'm in absolutely terrible conditions, I absolutely need the benefit of Evans higher boiling point. That's why I run the stuff.

Any evidence to back up the claim of Evans making a bike run hotter? I run Evans, and I've not seen evidence of that

Added reply in a thread Mystery Bearing 10/10/2019 9:43 AM

Not sure either. That's why I provided the dimensions of the bearing. Prior to ordering, you should measure the OD and height of the shift drum, and the ID of the bearing bore in the case. I'd bet the bearing is the same....the part number for the 1986 ... more »

For the record this part number bearing measures 25mm ID, 30mm OD, and it's 8mm tall

Added reply in a thread Mystery Bearing 10/8/2019 10:14 PM

Buy this part number: 91022-GC4-601 from Honda. It's found in the older CR80 parts fiche....look at the crankcase fiche, it'll be item number 13. For whatever reason, Honda stopped listing the part by itself. The cases and shift drum are the same part ... more »

Added reply in a thread Adjusting valves clearance 10/4/2019 9:11 AM

The only way to tell for certain is to get obtain new valves and test fit them to check the installed height vs factory spec. That'll tell you whether you need new seats, or if they can be recut. I have the cutter kit, knowledge, and experience to do ... more »

Added reply in a thread Clutch not working 9/30/2019 10:37 AM

rod needs to go into the pocket on the actuator arm...and is there supposed to be a ball bearing on the clutch basked side of the pushrod (it's be a separate piece). Also it'd be helpful to know what year, make and model the bike is

Added reply in a thread F1 World Championship 2019 9/30/2019 10:15 AM

Wondered that myself. I thought it was rather convenient that Seb's car puked right after a pit stop. As far as that start business...Seb was ripping off the start, and LEC was either gonna tow Seb or Hammy. Then Seb ran away and hid. I don't blame Seb ... more »

Added reply in a thread Justin Cooper wanted #14 according to Seely 9/27/2019 10:02 AM

The riders don't get to dictate who the numbers go to. Not only that, but didn't Ferrandis win a championship? Did Cooper win one when no one was looking?

Added reply in a thread F1 World Championship 2019 9/22/2019 7:50 AM

Not really a Seb fan, but damn he needed that, and glad he pulled it off! As for LEC, I'm sure he had some words for the team, but in the end he should have been faster...you want the win you gotta take it.

Kibblewhite makes shims down to 1mm for most applications...you'd have to check their product matrix though

Added reply in a thread YFZ450R valve shims dont fit 9/14/2019 1:25 AM

Didn't want to wait for pro X valves? Rocky mountain didn't have them on stock? If they did you'd have them 2 days later in most cases with free shipping. I routinely get items from them.the next day
