Xtrig pro roc’s triple clamps

My question is I bought the xtrig pro roc’s triple clamps for my 20 kx450  the ones where you can switch the off set from 23mm to 21mm. As you know they come with no spot for your gas vent hose .I seen some teams drill out the locking nut and put it in the stem just like oem triple clamps .. I drilled my out also .. I was told it could cause a vapor lock and stall out the bike .. I’m not a big fan of a zip tie and letting gas dribble out on my bike when riding but a stall out over a big jump is what I’m trying to avoid ,any help will be appreciated thanks
