I was thinking the same thing. They helped out RC with something similar regarding a race and an appearance. Sponsors also get riders and other important people to the Indy Trade show and the supercross race that butts against it on the schedule. If ... more »

Chances are he is not getting paid his full salary. Most contracts have an injury clause in them for this reason. Depends on the negotiations, but there are even stipulations on the amount of races missed or a sliding scale for the length of time missed. ... more »

They are there to race, not stick a flag in the ground. Both sides have much talent, but GH has been home turf for many riders, especially the new Euro's of late. Other tracks unfamiliar might play a factor.
