I'll have to go check out some of these places. Going to look at the track in tucson this weekend. Unfortunately I'll just be a spectator for a while due to a broken wrist.

if they are anything like talon hubs you can swap axle tubes and get new spacers. that's what i did to use my 09 YZ250f hubs on my 14 450.

I have been using the dr.d stainless on my '14 for a couple years.. the only issues i have had is the welds popped off of the mesh screen inside the muffler, i just safety wired it when i did a re-pack, no issues after. The second is where the head pipe ... more »

Reply to Switching from 250f to 450 any tips? 4/23/2016 6:11 AM

It's easier. I am 230 lbs and the 450 low end power makes it so easy to clear stuff. Just give it some gas and you're gonna clear it. Not aure if u have videos of u riding the 250. But when u compare the two its crazy becuase the 450 rpms are so low ... more »

Reply to Switching from 250f to 450 any tips? 4/22/2016 10:04 PM

yup definitly have to roll the throttle. i found the 450 easier to ride than the 250f because of all the low end power.. never really need to be top RPMs on the 450. you'll have to get used to the weight and handling. but im sure you will like it!

Yea not sure why the stock pipe is on there. Had a FMF pipe when i saw it in person.

Yea thats pretty much how i feel about it. Way too expensive for anyone or team not "in" with that company to do. I did not realize it at first i drooling over all the other parts on the bikes then i noticed the frame and swing arm.

I was really happy with them the first time I sent my stuff to them. That's why I sent it back when I got my new bike. But it was just excuse after excuse from bad workers to waiting on stickers or they broke something and way to long turn around time. ... more »

Man u have one sweet set up. Post some pics of your bike when u get it all installed. I dont think i have seen a husky with the dlc and kashima. Gonna look sick!

Reply to Factory KYB fork question 1/21/2016 12:51 PM

What about one suspension company supplying the different suspension types for one bike? That way its not a "company shootout." Anyway you look at it would be difficult to do. But it is pretty cool idea..

Looks good man.. glad your filters worked out... Hopefully this solves your issues with dirt getting in there.

Reply to 2014 YZ450: Dirt getting past air filter 1/3/2016 11:17 AM

If you don't have a wash cover yet make sure you get one, I spray around the air filter with parts cleaner to remove as much dirt as possible before pulling the filter then put the cover on right away. I have not had any issues with dirt falling in. ... more »

You still might be ok with the powerflow kit and GYTR filters. I know the stock filter will not work because the powerflow cage sits inside the filter and the stock ones are just too small. Not sure if I buy whole backfire / flame retardant filter deal. ... more »

I agree with this.. Price sucks for what it is, but it is a flange style cage so the filter is basically crushed between 2 aluminum pieces. My intake is always clean no matter how dirty the filter is..

Reply to Lets See Your Suspension Coatings!! 12/27/2015 5:18 PM

I had my suspension done in Japan by Technix. Due to the dollar being so strong compared to yen the price on the coatings was hard to pass up. Can I tell a difference? No.. Maybe if I just had the coatings done, but I had my suspension serviced and revalved
