2 stroke engine tuners from the 80s

Hi all, I have a 1985 Honda 250R 3 wheeler

I got from a guy in El Cajon, Calif. who use to race short course and motocross, I just can't remember his name, Steve maybe? Anyway the bike was ported and tuned by someone with the initials "PF". he engraved the initials on the head next to the reed intake.  Does anyone know who this tuner is?
