04 KX125. Pro Circuit Springs, 16 KX450F OEM Perch and lever. HD springs are used for clutch longevity. I pull with my index finger only, and have no issues with the stiffer pull. The best tip is no/less clutch. Amazing bike. I am also running a 52 rear, ... more »

2004 KX125. I run Motion Pro cables on all my bikes. Very smooth and consistent pull. Longevity and durability is another positive factor. Motion Pro is the best recommendation.

04 KX125 are amazing. I had Pro Circuit service mine, stock. The reviews said the bike was Pro level. Today the bikes are built for novice riders? More power, not stiff enough. https://motocrossactionmag.com/two-stroke-tuesday-we-test-the-2004-kawasaki-kx125/ ... more »

7/8" Perfect balance between stiff/flex. I have never bent a set in a fall. I also run my levers in, so I need the extra clamp area.

Acerbis. One of my first changes on my new bikes. Perfect fit. The durability is beyond seasonal. I can run a set for multiple seasons, but change with each new graphics. I use most of their products Handguards and Chain Blocks/sliders.

Reply to RIDER WEIGHT VS HAVING MUSCLE? 3/18/2021 7:55 AM

Plateau your training. I set my training at max weight for 12 reps. Keeping my body weight at 185. If you were 165-170, 185 is more than enough added strength. I also have a 125 and this weight is not an issue.

I use Renthal 7/8 on all my bikes for that same reason. I run my Brake mount 8 cm in from my grip and clutch 7 cm. I use my Index finger only. I tried to setup the twinwalls, but the control area is only 190 mm. The 7/8 is 203 mm. When mounting the clutch ... more »

Per service manual: Measure the space between the bottom of the chain and the swingarm. 48mm-54mm (1.9in.-2.1in.). Not even close to 3 fingers of slack.

Perfect time to try the 116 link setup. you can always take out 2 links.

Are you using the stock gearing and chain? Try going to a 116 link chain and moving the axle back for better bike balance.

How much throttle cable slack? Where is the position of your throttle housing? This takes no mapping. I know it is personal preference.

I run Braking Rotors and Pads. Performance is exceptional. Power, but also the feel when under light engagement. The durability is always a bonus. The pads have a longer wear life. I recommend this package to anyone that is ready for a replacement or
