Put any and all certs/training/kowledge on your resume. As far as construction, yes, definitely put it on your resume for multiple reasons. If you did any type of IT related things for that construction company, point that out. From a hiring manager ... more »

Start with removing the Head and Cylinder. Check to be sure those look good and are all in one piece. Check the lower end rod bearing by grabbing the rod and trying to move it up and down. There should be almost NO movement at all. You will get some ... more »

I thought RedBud did a great job considering the muddy mess, but I'd rather see it go somewhere else. I still have nightmares about people screaming "RED BUD"! Boy that got old FAST.

If you are working full time now and still working on your Certs, I recommend that you start applying for jobs now, but clearly explain to them that you plan to have the cert in June/July. It shows you are serious and eager to get started. If you are ... more »

I'm an IT Manager for a non-profit Healthcare Organization. Current pay is in the 6 figures. I've been in IT since 1993 and boy has it changed since I started. My recommendation to both of you is to find a niche that will be around for a while within ... more »

I had the same thing happen. The guy bought the bike and it was 2 weeks later, he said he was just riding it and it locked up. I started asking questions and he let is slip out that he was "just riding it down the road". Turns out he was wide open on ... more »

This is a tough one. I hate it that America has become a sue happy society. I'd rather see her go a different route than sue. There are too many unknowns to this story, and maybe that's why she is suing. What we know: It was REALLY foggy. Sheriffs Dept ... more »

My wife was like "What the hell, how the hell?? What happens when she crashes/tips over?" Ended with, "That's pretty awesome for her to be riding!" Thumbs up to her!

I've been told many fast guys drag the rear brake just a bit through the whoops, which helps keep the rear wheel down. Never verified, just heard that.

Reply to Mx bikes need to be tamed 2/21/2020 5:15 AM

The only thing we need is for the riders to do two things: 1) Use your head. Be smart and don't endanger other riders by cross jumping, jumping over/on someone, etc 2) Control that thing on the end of your right arm! Go only as fast as your capable of! ... more »

Reply to Bike ticking and shut off 2/21/2020 5:10 AM

Check the timing. My situation was a bit different, but I had a simple tip over and the timing gear jumps a tooth. Same scenario. Loud ticking. Fixed the timing and it went away. If yours isn't starting, you may want to pull the head and have it looked ... more »

Reply to Japanese manufacturers, can we have an honest conversation about your chain guide mounting please? 2/19/2020 11:11 AM

I get that they aren't welded on that great, but I'm going to disagree that they "take very little to rip one off". Yes, there are exceptions, but the VAST majority are fine. If that was the case, we'd hear way more about that happening. In my opinion, ... more »

Reply to Japanese manufacturers, can we have an honest conversation about your chain guide mounting please? 2/19/2020 8:56 AM

Something like this is always interesting to me. What really caused this? Did a sprocket bolt or two come loose causing the chain to come off breaking the mount? Did the rear axle or chain adjusters loosen on one side causing the chain to come off breaking ... more »

Reply to How does Broc Tickle finish? Is he a solid pick to make main? 2/14/2020 7:04 AM

He'll make the main via LCQ. In the main, I think he'll start in the top 10, but he's not in race condition and will fade to around 14-16. If he stays healthy, by the end of the year, he'll be in the 7-10 range.

I concur with everyone. Redo the cylinder. I've seen worse, but they were usually attributed to a motor that was grenaded!
