I got to mob my in-laws new Razor around some northern Michigan snow covered seasonal roads last weekend and I can see why they’re so popular. I grew up driving in the snow and these things are a ton of fun sliding into corners. Unreal how fast they ... more »
Whoa
I’d love to see what everyone’s training routine is that gets them close to a Moto heart rate. I’ve tried a lot of different stuff, and there’s not much that will give me the same amount of max HR that I get during a Moto. Last year I started running ... more »
That’s about a decade before my early days of Mx, but I’d LOVE to pin this thing around the track. Gorgeous bike man
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but Vitals PM system is a tub of shit or at least it was last time I tried to use it. FFS, there’s a sticky that explains how to use it because it sucks so hard.
I just hit 67 eating a black bean crunch wrap supreme from TB. Bet I’ll hit 70 if I eat my daughters cinnamon twists, and a possible spike to 80 when she calls an asshole.
I got my first Polar back in 07, and I would regularly see 215+ during moto’s on my RM. I remember wondering how accurate that was and if the bike was interfering with the strap lol. Now, I rarely see over 180 when I feel like I’m pushing hard. If I’m ... more »
I don’t train as much as I’d like, but I wear my watch (Garmin) while I sleep to monitor my sleep time and I’m about 50 most of the night and when I wake up. I used to be in the mid 40’s when I was in my late 20’s-thru 30’s. I’m 43 now though, so I assume ... more »
Heads up, if you have auto renewal still setup, I think it’s going to go through on 12/30
Going to miss GL. Never agreed with the hate he received about interrupting guests or anything like that. GL’s stories always made for great listening for me.
I’d love to rip my bike through the city. Tires are too expensive though.
I became a fan of Vince Friese when his mechanic backhanded a hot JA21 off his bike going through the tunnel.
I loved A-Ray, but he blocked me when I used the word sketchy. So, it looks like I’m riding the troll train this year.
I’m a +40 Vet B guy too and 19 YZ is THE best stock suspended bike I’ve ever ridden. Better than the majority of stuff I’ve had revalved. I fall in the sweet spot of the stock springs, but I’m really having a hard time deciding if I want to have it messed ... more »
Pull it off and run a wire wheel over it.
Hiking the local ski hill/dune on Lake Michigan with the wife before they turn the snow guns on.
Not sure if Weisner is still around in MI, but he made my first CRF’s the best suspension I’ve ridden to date. I didn’t have to touch one clicker. Have also used Pro-Action on CR’s and Factory Connection on RM’s. Depending on your skill level, I vote ... more »
Just buy a snowboard, park the bike, and go hike some hills for a couple months. It’s cheap and peaceful release.
Gary the real MVP. His footage is perfect for being almost 2 decades old. Any race footage looks like it was re dubbed through 26 vhs tapes
