That was a nasty crash, luckily he did get up briefly after hitting the ground. threw it sideways and the bike locked up in the air. Watching him ride I was thinking to myself “man I hope that bike doesn’t float a valve” the entire time, lots of revs. ... more »

I used Alias the first two years of its release, been TLD since then. Always have had good luck with their gear.

Yes I’ve played with the idle a lot, if I set it absurdally high it will keep it going. I unfortunately don’t have a setup to test the TPS, seems odd that it would get out of wack halfway through a ride though. I’m considering the ECU as a possible cause. ... more »

So cringey. It would be great if they’d just do away with that bit for all involved.

I’ve got a plate on my left clavicle and a plate on my left femur. The collar bone will give me trouble with most roost guards and neck braces are an absolute no go due to damaged nerves (3 breaks, on the second plate now). The leg doesn’t even give ... more »

I’m 6’4” as well. I’ve never had a set of gear that I felt was too short, though my preference had been TLD and Alias.

Galvan takes care of me though I will say that the retail number he gave was $2500 with valving done and everything replaced. The down time is pretty lengthy on the Kashima so plan ahead. Plans to ride the bike stock are now out the window. My good friend ... more »

Thank you I appreciate that. I absolutely cannot stand plated two stroke pipes, I'm working on stripping the paint off the stocker until I get a freebie Pro Circuit refurbished. It's all personal preference!

After several months the suspension is back on the bike! I still have a few more things to do before it's ready for the track but I couldn't resist a couple pictures. I will get better pictures soon, but for now here's these.

The 02 crank has a tin casing around it, from what I've read it's come apart in some cases. The 07 crank drops right in and solves any of those problems. If I recall it's weighted differently as well. All of my knowledge on the subject has come from ... more »

I'm going to put some time on it as is so that I will appreciate it more. When the time comes for a new piston I plan to have the cylinder and head worked over. So far I can't complain about the power, not near as much hit as the KTM 300 kit I had on ... more »

Good eye, $150 craigslist find. It performs much better than the FMF I had. I will be upgrading to the new model eventually.

Here's my Scalvini, just mounted it up last week. Took a little work to get it to fit but who cares when it looks this good!? Didn't buy the silencer as i read they don't perform well.
