The dealership is in Linton, IN. I was just there. The 21 KX 450 is gone, he's only had 2-21's so far and my buddy bought the other one about a month ago.. All he has left in dirt bikes is:1 KX85, 1 KX65 a KLX 140 and a about 6 SSR's. He has a couple of the KX 250X sold if he can get them. Inventory is very slim and won't get better...more

Don't you think the electric revolution has the opportunity to lower costs eventually? The tech will become more affordable. Maybe even a sealed engine and spec batteries? Less wear parts, less time rebuilding engines, etc. Teams can focus on suspension settings and the power curve will be adjusted with a laptop. Just a thought...

I couldn't agree more about merch sales. It is a travesty that teams and aftermarket companies are not allowed to. I have mentioned this many times on this forum. We all wish the 125 class would be back, but nope. So, with all the other riders continuing further into the career, could it be time to consider a full 250 A class 17 rounds then split the east/west into a 250 B class. This gives us more racing, allows certain guys not to point out if there isn’t a 450 ride?

Not all dealers are gouging. Look around.
My brother is a Kaw/Polaris/TM dealer here. He has one 21 KX 450 in stock (well it was there yesterday, lol). You can buy it for a bit less than msrp plus tax. And that's how he always does it. That's why they've been in business since 1974.

We wrestle year round at the club level and have roughly $1500-$2000 into that every year. The difference is that's 5 nights a week plus tournaments almost every weekend for 4 straight months during winter. I just find it disappointing that a year ago you could buy the same models for 1-2k less than they are now. Wal-Mart beats...more
