UFO gear is made really well. I have one their Ranger enduro jackets. Love it. Looks awesome and wears like iron. Size is a little on the smaller side. I would go with one size larger on gear. Contact Dave at Tuf Racing. He is the importer for UFO. He ... more »

No problem. I usually take pics so I have a reference. The shims are the 17 orientation. One thing about ordering the valves. You DO NOT get the 18 shim stacks with them. Just the valve bodies. For my FX350 and the rest of the off-road line, there was ... more »

Maybe the internal seal may have a small difference considering it is the air-side, but they are pretty much the same. Both 12mm rods. I believe you are correct on the loss on both the rebound and the compression.

Here are a few pics when I did my upgrade showing the 18' parts. Hope this helps. Piston set air fork D34 MY18 - Part # 131307014135 (Includes both the base and midvalve) Spring rebound + spring guide - Part # 131307014134 (Air-side rebound spring assembly)

If you need the cartridge rod seal in the seal head, go with the mxtech unit. You don't need to buy the entire WP rod assembly. The stock WP stuff is also damaged easily. A complete seal head is $60. I had to replace mine on the air side. The seal didn't ... more »

Shinko all the way. 505 Cheater is the cat's meow in the rocks and is cheap. Does not chew up as easy as you think it would either.

It is personal preference. I run some of the D6 HS rounds and would never run without barkbuster style hand protection. I have 2 sets of bars. One for scrambles and one for MX. I run the standard plastic guards for MX. At 50, I too switched from MX over ... more »

I had both a RMZ450 & 250. My son still has the 250. Senior A 205# rider and I could ride the 250 just a fast as the 450 and not get as tired. If you ride a track with allot of hills, the 450 will pull it much better. For the rest of the world, a ... more »

Been sponsored by them since '98. Their Hardwear gear wears like iron. Great fit. It fits true to size and has enough room in the pants for knee braces. Can't go wrong.

THIS! If you are not on the pipe on a 250 2T you will not be on the pipe on a 250F. You need to rev the 250F to make it go. The 300 KTMs and Huskys are awesome. And no, they are not slow on a mx track.

Good catch. Looks like this has been cracked for some time and it finally let loose. Even the interior of the tubing has some serious surface rust. Even still, that is a huge amount of force to tear the steel like that.

No problem. Always glad to help. It was perfect timing. I just received a SDI kit yesterday for a buddy's Husky. If you can have the x-trig retainer machined to 70mm dia., you should be golden. That will give you a little bit of play for install.

Agreed. The SDI is the nicest system. Also gives the shock a more subtle feel over small chop. You need to watch some of the other manufacturer's products. They tend to use welded tubing and then machine it to make the canisters. Some racers have had ... more »
