So adding the xtrig PHDS to the xtrig clamp is 10mm higher than the fixed bar mounts from xtrig that has partnumber 50200001.  I dobt know if xtrig fixed mounts is intended to be -10mm with the fixed bar mounts "as is", or, if they intend that to compensate ... more »

Problem found and fixed. It was two issues 1. Cartridge on KYB fork had some threads visible, so partly lose 2. Xtrig Rocs triple clamp do NOT have the same total height on the bike as the OEM factory triple clamp. About 5mm difference which if i rememer ... more »

It feels like front is high, similar feeling to turning rebound out 10-15 clicks. I have raced with shorter shock, longer linkage, revalved shock that works lower in the stroke and it does not feel like that. It just feel like the front end is raised ... more »

Second time now I experience this. First on my 2018 sxf last year, 50h-ish. Did a moto, came back in all was fine. Cone valve and track shock. Went back out for second moto and suddenly front end is high, or rather feel like I have 10mm bar risers mounted. ... more »

He will be in ballpark. I have not seen anyone go outside 35-40 on hsc, and 12-20 on rebound and ~10-22 on lsc on trax. No matter what valving. If he has to, valving is off and he will know that at least. If he have a hard time to determine what needs ... more »

Closest to front of bike is hsc.

38 17 17 on shock is a ok start. Fork, 16r 15c 0 preload. That is in ballpark and will not be more than a few clicks off.

45min would be so fucking boring. Shorten to 25+2 instead, or 20+20+20+1. Last 10 minutes of a 30+2 race is just a sleeper. If it was a bit shorter maybe someone could put up the tempo for a bit longer and challenge.

I think Bagget will suffer from hands going numb. Armpump will be better with softer suspension, but numbness will be catastrophic when we are now talking about 35min instead of 20min, and outdoor with full revving bikes numbness will set in sooner rather ... more »

Easy. Takes 2min for us (or a national pro rider) to reach 95-98% of max HR and then we stay there for 20-35min depending on level and class. Any trainer knows what that means.

Wheel Still on the ground, but suspension has started to rebound several inches compared to complete bottom out. So it absolutely has a vital part. If you have been testing rear shock suspension and going back and fwd between spring rates is becomes

Normally it starts to rebound when you take weight of rear, which you do just before the rear wheel leave the ground, not to loop out on short jumps with little air time. Only time I hold the rear end compressed all through the jump face is when I need ... more »

You are considering the shock to be the only thing that is absorbing the energy going into a jump face/seat bouncing, it is not. The whole bike including your body acts as a catapult moving mass from rear of bike and forward ones in the air. Normal jumping, ... more »

It is not the same thing. You have several Gs in force that you experience when you go into a jump face, not so much on flat ground. It is a combination of loading the suspension with body position and throttle, as well as taking weight of the seat just ... more »
