Yeah i know what you mean but i wouldnt of thought they should bog, they just sound gummed up with oil but it was fully warm and cleared out and i done the air screw and its out 1 turn and its still bogging so will need a rich pilot

I tried that and it made the problem worse i think the pilot is too lean but it has a 48 in and thats the richest pilot ktm recommend in their jetting chart so i find it strange why its lean also i ride within 15 ish degree heat and altitudes below 100 ... more »

Hi, i have a ktm 85 and once it warms up completely and i let it idle for about 10+ seconds it bogs then it revs normally again, i got a 48 pilot in with the air screw 2 turns out which is what ktm recommend for the altitude and temperature im in right

I got told by a ktm mechanic that sometimes on the 2 strokes (ktm) the powervalve rattles around until the bikes warm then it stops but he said its nothing to worry about

I never refused to listen, the guy said put a nrjc needle in at the 2nd clip position and it ran lean so i asked him what else i should do, he didnt reply and im not listening? Lol. Also im not a factory mechanic, i dont know how to change squish hence ... more »

Not saying your wrong but how does changing the power valve spring help it also i dont want to get in and adjust all the squish, could i just simply change the jets?

Sorry i mean when i give it about 1/2 throttle and let it die down the tik over is very slow and long and i let it idle for about 10 seconds then i give it full throttle and it bogs then i rev it again and its fine

I just started it and the mid to top power is good and the idle is very slow and long and then i rev it to a quater throttle and it bogs, it still has 50:1 fuel in should i swap it to 40:1 and that will fix it?

Ahhh right gotcha, it runs a bit rich up top and i had a 142 main jet in and i just swapped it to a 140, is this a good idea?
