Not sure in MX who has ran it but Italian road racer Loris Reggiani ran it throughout his career I think, think he won quite a few GP's with it also!

Added reply in a thread The number 13 8/15/2016 10:16 AM

Its terribly unlucky but only on Fridays .... Think some people in Italy actually think it to be a lucky number. Think Jessy Nelson may also have proved it to be lucky, not that crashing like that was really lucky but surviving a hit like that may have ... more »

That is a really scary looking list of injuries he took /had. Sounds like a heck of a hit/ beating he took. Really good to see how he has picked things back up- often think nowdays how I may actually have been quite lucky to have not injured myself quite ... more »

Fantastic really how KTM have returned from the dead over the last few decades. Weren't they nearly bust and out of business in the the 80's and had to get bailed out by Austrian Government help or something? I maybe wrong but thought I read this somewhere. ... more »

Guess this type of scenario takes a certain amount of trust that one would hope would be adhered to.... when it is not, that is when the problems begin... and worse, hence the thread. Yes, sure, had the OP known the reputation of the guy beforehand then

Will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the already established manufacturers in that class. KTM seem to do pretty well nowdays with whatever they make and seem more than capable of matching or possibly even surpassing the big Japanese marques. ... more »

Think you too will have a Biblical experience for sure, riding tomorrow- even more so if you are skipping off work to do so, n' on that nice KX500 you have. After all, God rested on a Sunday and everyone deserves a day off here n' there.

Hah ha- yes, I know, we both often comment on these (un?)likely outstanding 'Biblical levels' of rain; wondered when you would show up....
