Ah ok- yes same displacement makes more sense, rather than mixed. That really went down like a lead balloon, when they tried it in GP's, was a shambles seem to remember and quite a few crashes. Thing is, there is sort of a 250 and 450 class somewhat ... more »

Added reply in a thread Jeffrey Herlings to U.S. for 2017 7/1/2016 10:13 AM

Haahha- did make me laugh this ^^^

silly
Something always entertaining about these 'Herlings threads' .... Putting the jokes aside, he did seem to have it owned in Mantova- what with his laptimes being faster than anyone elses, including ... more »

Did a while back- I nearly fell asleep as it was really sort of boring looking/ sounding- really did not like it. Also did not like the electric TT race that much- watched it last year but did not bother this year.

Added reply in a thread So about this Gajser kid 6/25/2016 12:23 PM

Yea absolutely, that is what is happening with this new generation and yes Guillod also looks pretty impressive at times, especially last year on more than a few occasions. He would go for it and hang it all out in the process, pretty wild at times. ... more »

Yea- hope he stays on- have a right old battle with Herlings/ Febvre and whomever else... then he could leave as sort of a 'undisputed champ' ... or maybe not?! Suppose though he has got to win it this year first... maybe getting abit ahead of myself ... more »

Added reply in a thread So about this Gajser kid 6/25/2016 11:22 AM

Yes, if he does go US, absolutely what you say- the change from GP's to Supercross could also 'sort of stunt his confidence' at that winning level (if he no longer wins at SX) - reckon he should do the outdoors first. There again maybe he could be as ... more »

Added reply in a thread So about this Gajser kid 6/25/2016 11:16 AM

Fair comments and maybe Herlings will do the same as Febvre and Gajser.... Still has not been proven though until he does it, where as Gajser/ Febvre are doing it and the few races Herlings has done are not enough proof for me. Maybe the same question ... more »

Added reply in a thread 4 strokes replaced 2 strokes.. 4 strokes will be replaced by... 6/25/2016 9:23 AM

^^ Exactly, think when 2 strokes took over from the 4 strokes in MX (mid to late 60's?), then everyone thought that was it/ death for the 4stroke in MX until they reappeared..... So... on this theory, the cycle could possibly repeat again with the 2 ... more »

Was that the Des Nations, France 2011? Yes, it was good result for sure at a very young age but it is just one race. Didn't Roczen though go even better at that same years Des Nations I seem to recall, being only slightly older and was only on a 250 ... more »

Guess if he has banged his wrist up and it is too hot, then he could sit it out, get a good Ice cream (being in Italy) and enjoy his holiday and the racing!

Well we had a thread last week for the Brit GP, so how about this weeks Italian round? I say maybe top 10 at best, seems like the fitness is quite a problem rather than the speed, going by the interview I saw with him recently. Is good having him at ... more »

Yes! I reckon that also- as well as Febre also. Those boys have really stepped it up a level or three and are totally different animals on the 450's to what they were on 250's. Rooting for Tim this weekend!
