What does it mean exactly? 12 pages and I am still confused! Googles it and amongst other things it came up with "a Thug that has made it to the big time!" Wouldn't exactly describe Kenny or Barcia as a Thug! They maybe ballers but don't think they are ... more »

To answer thread title/ question, I think it had a big impact- possibly many people whom saw it were already riding and had caught the bug anyway but probably quite a few did not ride and after seeing the film then got into riding/ racing. Whatever way, ... more »

He looks so young and is tiny! the way he is balancing that bike looks like he has been riding a bike for decades already-most adults couldn't wheelie that well! Something else the film shows quite well- you can have quite 'good' riders, like McQueen ... more »

How many is Barcia on though now? His 4th or 5th? Think Kenny may actually need 5 or 6 more to top that.

Think Kurt Nicoll (top GP rider back in the day) and also Jobe used the flatter type tanks on their works bikes 1986-1989 odd. The 250 tank sort of makes the 500 look like the works bikes they had back in the day which IMO are some of the best looking ... more »

Yea- me too- reckon the 250 flatter tanks look loads better on examining the pictures.

Certainly not as tall as this one though! An ex. David Thorpe works tanks 1990 ish time, pretty sort of ugly and tall - this bike was for sale recently here also- Is one of his works tank off Works SR500 (1990 therabouts) fitted to a sort of standard

Those 4" (presume 4"x4" size) Spal Pull type fans mentioned earlier draw about 2 Amps- so 6Ah sealed battery12v may justabout go the distance thereabouts. Block of 4 computer fans though covers 12" (12"x 3" size) and draws only bout 1Amp total. The Spal ... more »

Aah ok- a standard smallish car type radiator fan probably draws about 6-10Amps- that would mean you would have to have about an 18Ah-30Ah battery for it to last the 3 hours therabouts. You would be talking a fair size battery and a fair bit of weight,
