Added reply in a thread What’s up with Roczen’s haircut? 2/8/2020 9:56 AM

Maybe he likes/follows Soccer, Neymar just pulled that haircut a week ago, so there must be some kind of a trend going on...

Added reply in a thread Anyone know why some teams have two start buttons? 1/31/2020 2:04 PM

That, and also if the rider stalls it at one point, he can re-start and pursue in the same movement. Every second counts, as you say. When all put together, using two buttons is the option covering the most range of problems that anyone can face while ... more »

Added reply in a thread Why no big name MXGP riders at Paris sx 11/11/2019 1:52 PM

Tom Vialle was interviewed on the site and said he was going to be racing it next year on a 250 (with KTM's consent). Jorge Prado is highly considering it also (on a 450).

Actually Pourcel did not compete in the French SX Tour. Just naturally (very) talented. So is Gajser.

Added reply in a thread Justin Cooper podium interview 6/2/2019 5:10 AM

One just shouldn't be able to skip such large amounts of track with no penalty whatsoever, like allowed by the current rules. That said, at Thunder Valley, AC did it with more class / fairness than anyone I can remember in a similar situation, so it ... more »

Added reply in a thread Justin Cooper podium interview 6/1/2019 7:35 PM

I found it actually surprising that nothing was said (on TV) and done (by the AMA) about AC's Pala Moto 1 start, where he went straight for the side lane (with firmer dirt), outside the yellow markers.. I originally thought that he was bumped out of ... more »

Added reply in a thread Suggestions for NBC Sports 5/28/2019 2:25 AM

Yep, that's what I am doing too. Saves a lot of time on a "busy" family Sunday. Apparently the US side can't figure this out (or there is a legit reason that we don't know about).

Added reply in a thread Suggestions for NBC Sports 5/28/2019 1:38 AM

How about 1 MINUTE after the podium interview like MXGP/TV manages to do for 5 years now ?

Added reply in a thread Cross-jumping (Musquin in particular) 3/2/2019 6:56 AM

At the end of the video Osborne is REALLY close from Deano and Deano jumps across to protect his inside without checking where Zach is at all. That's about the only potential "cross jumping" I see in this video and it's still OK, amny riders did it, ... more »

De Anza Yamaha SX testing track ? I shot that photo and interviewed him there, I think (but my memory's kind of fuzzy)

Added reply in a thread Rod Inside Tibia 12/17/2018 5:42 AM

My first rod 30 years ago was actually preventing part of the bone to fully regrow (it was a "spiroid fracture", foot at 90° angle from leg). It was strong but x-rays were showing some bone missing. Strangely, it re-grew after the rod was taken out and ... more »

Added reply in a thread Rod Inside Tibia 12/16/2018 3:56 PM

I had one 30 years ago and got it out after two years, all benefit. Unfortunately, I got another one yesterday, same leg. If it bothers me as much as it did then, I'll get it removed as well.

Added reply in a thread Weston Peick Update 11/24/2018 1:49 AM

Eric Sorby visited Weston Friday at the hospital and was very relieved after watching him be 100% alert, he can't talk yet but definitely understands/answers/exchanges using his hands, he's sitting down on his bed too. His face has considerably swollen ... more »

Added reply in a thread Weston peick injured? 11/20/2018 9:38 AM

There was so much blood in his mouth that he was potentially going to die if they did not move him fast. The guys on charge at Paris SX are doing this for 20+ years, they are the Doc Bodnar's of France. I have seen them dozens of times not moving someone ... more »

Added reply in a thread Weston peick injured? 11/20/2018 3:49 AM

Weston got surgery in a hospital whose crew/surgeons are considered among the best in the world for that type of facial injury. They woke him up afterwards and say he is "coherent" which, with all due prudence, sounds like the best news since Saturday, ... more »

Added reply in a thread DV: New personal trainer of Marvin Musquin 10/10/2018 4:32 PM

Marvin is the leader of a winning Team and has the most successful trainer out there. He has a top notch environment already. Now if he is looking for that little extra that could make him a SX champion -and one can bet he is- DV can arguably help him. ... more »

Added reply in a thread DV: New personal trainer of Marvin Musquin 10/10/2018 2:58 PM

That would make sense ! But not a full on deal, I think. Sounds like (as heard on Matthes' show) he still works with Dylan, too.

Added reply in a thread What's the beef between Gautier and Jordi? 10/10/2018 6:03 AM

As the official "team captain", Gautier made a private call to Marvin to try to convince him to replace Romain Febvre. That did not work. As far as I know, it was more about trying to have the strongest possible team than having a personal problem with ... more »

Added reply in a thread France's secret to victory... 10/10/2018 5:56 AM

Actually the one who delivered the most these past years for Team France was indeed Romain Febvre, not Gautier. Gautier was hurt coming into Ernée 2015, he handled the pain, scored good enough (but not great) then went on for knee surgery the day after ... more »
