Reply to Small Toy Hauler? 8/21/2018 9:26 AM

I've got a 2010 18' Carson Fun Runner that I picked up for about $7k. It's got everything I need for desert trips, has been reliable, and is easily towed with a half-ton pickup.

I've been a big fan of Peick since I saw him nose wheelie to block Dungey @ Phoenix, 2015. The Friese beatdown was also endearing, even if it meant I didn't get to see him at my hometown race that next year. He's got a lot of skill and I'm still hoping ... more »

You didn't even watch long enough to see them not ride the bikes.

They've been "temporarily" closed since August '17, so I'm not holding my breath at this point.

Shout works great in a foam cannon, so does simple green.

Love being able to put the tailgate up with bikes in the bed, especially when towing a toy hauler!

I've had a Carson for a couple of years and have been very pleased with it. It's not fancy but has everything I require (AC, fridge, stove, sink, toilet, shower) and has hauled our RZR and bikes out to the desert every other weekend without issue.

Yeah, I saw Castelo take out Noah McConahy too... and then Castelo dumped it shortly afterwards. Gotta say Justin Hoeft's got a lot of heart!

Found it! It's the Nifco SLC20F. Incidentally the exact same part on my MSR pants as the TLDs, so I suspect other manufacturers may use them as well.

For those that have broken the other side, it's the Nifco SL M. All thanks to the ... more »

bvm111, all I have to compare them to is an old set of EVS braces I have previously, but these don't leave welts/bruises on the backs of my legs, don't appear to limit movement on the bike, and are comfortable enough to wear all day (8+ hour trail rides ... more »

Not likely, I'm pretty sure the team was built around Martin Castelos (and is funded by a fellow Ecuadorian friend).

Leatt Airfit 3DF is light, comfortable, and slim-fit. Works very well (and all I'll wear when the temps climb), just be aware there's no side/flank protection.
