The 1976 YZ80C was faster, they had to de tune it for 1977. Fun fact. I had one so I know.

Rio Bravo had 2 rows of this. Mostly RM's and YZ's not many green or red. I remember the bikes losing 40% of the HP from the heat in Texas mid moto then the 1981 bike came out..Game changer.

Pretty impressive and fast for $39K. Not the best looking by far though.

Night and day difference between the YZ80B and YZ80C. I did not know it was displacement. The XR75 would beat the YZ80B.

1972 SL70, stripped the lights off of it, added a pipe and was my first race bike. First race, Austin day track 1974-75?, rubber band start, I am on the last position on the right when the rubber band smacks my helmet, turning it sideways which caused ... more »

I will buy 3 kits of the version 2.0 without the looped out look. Fender angle needs to be on a bike without the rider since many of us like to look at dirt bikes in the garage while drinking a cold one.

Love my Ridgeline since 2005 and keeping your gear and tools locked up under the bed in this 4 wheel drive, independent suspension quad is cool. It holds 2 bikes with no problem.

Go to the County Tax office website to find out who owns the land. Call them or send them a letter asking permission. They may be nice and say no problem, just get it in writing in case the Cop that shows up is in a bad mood. If they say no way then ... more »

I remember riding with Tedesco at 3 Palms in 2005 when the RMZ450 first came out. He is really smooth and really, really fast. I wish it were true. True story, Tedesco means German man in Italian.

More pics of this bike please. How did he keep the upper triple clamp from hitting the gas tank and are those CR125 fenders? That bike is amazing.

Added reply in a thread Is this a Trip down Memory lane for some of you ? 10/25/2019 5:48 AM

Yes Betor forks (that hit the tank, need to weld tabs on lower triple clamp), Lockhart oil cooler, longer finned intake, big bore kit 85 or 88cc, SL 100 front rim and big brake and it used to have a CDI that went out. We could not find a replacement ... more »

1976 YZ80C killed the XR75. I had one and my brother had the JWRP XR75 big bore. (still in my garage, I wish i kept the YZ80 too).

Question- Could you have put that motor in a chassis that actually turns like a Suzuki, KTM or Husky or is that against the rules?
