Reply to Arenacross Drama. Tennant vs Osby 3/20/2017 6:19 PM

Haha omg has anyone read the comments on Osby's post since yesterday? Tennant's mom had a complete meltdown. I am in shock how classless some of these parents are. It's easy to see why so many of these kids act the way they do when their parents are ... more »

Well what I do know for a fact, and it's common knowledge on here as it was also in a thread last year is that before he rode for Star either his parents or grandparents bought a few bikes from Star for him to ride A class on and he instagramed to the ... more »

I understand the argument of counting the number of downsides or places to land completely. The thing that bothers me is guys taking these lines that have been done forever and all of a sudden calling it a quad. Remember McGrath's 90 foot double in Steel ... more »

Wouldn't be surprised to see Tennant receive a somewhat substantial fine/penalty and I guarantee Star Yamaha isn't happy. Kid shows up for his first real pro race and starts shit both on and off the track with a guy who's in the chase for the championship. ... more »

From what I understand a lot of the AX guys are going to have Osby's back on this one from here on out, which is not going to make things easy on Tennant. You can come in and make an ass of yourself and lose respect before you even get to SX or you can ... more »

Lol yep! On that note maybe they should hire Chad Reed so that they have a fan favorite at the races, hire Mike Alessi so that they get every holeshot, hire Weston Pieck as the enforcer, keep Grant around as the resident wannabe contender/dirtbag and ... more »

I think you misunderstood his post. TP199 was racing before JS7. He's right, while he was on 125's he was the fastest 125 racer in the world. Lookup the Des Nations footage of TP199 on the buck two five.

Reply to Pastrana racing 3/17/2017 5:13 PM

Agree. Obviously he has balls and tried stuff that others didn't but he grew up winning amateur titles and his lanky frame threw the 125 around a national track faster than anyone else in that era. Realistically, the 125 class 15-20 years ago was more ... more »

Smoother and more broad power delivery, less low RPM engine bogging. Plus, more options for engine mapping = not having to rely so much on revving the damn thing to the moon to stay within the powerband.

This only strengthens MCR's relationship with Honda. This is their first year as a Honda satellite team, a move like this POTENTIALLY pushes them into a spot similar to Rock River over at Yamaha. I know a lot of people have been historically critical ... more »

You will learn to rev the bike a lot higher to keep it in a more narrow powerband. As a result you will get a lot better at choosing lines because you're going to need to carry as much momentum as possible through corners.

I can confirm that hanging the leg off of the back of the bike cuts milliseconds off lap times as well

Reply to mental block when it comes to ruts? 3/13/2017 6:28 PM

When using them to turn stay as low as possible in the rut and let the rut steer your bike. You can coast into a rut but once you feel the rear shock flex into that rut hammer the gas and stay low.
