That ESR 325 uses one, which I think is the 325 guy you're talking about. There's no way that thing runs too terribly well on the stock stroke. It's prob like an 85B x 66S engine, rough guesstimate. I mean, if it did, I'd be surprised. At least this ... more »
You can make one. Buy a second swingarm and precision cut the top of the arm parts off. It could be done very carefully with an angle grinder if you're good with one and make a guide line, because you'll have a built-in jig. Enlarge the holes for the ... more »
yea I don't have any of the smaller two stroke ones but Rob Walters does
It's been a long time since I've seen one of those JPX cylinders.
Of course it has. By me, for one. Remember the works Yamaha swingarms from 17 that Roman Febvre, Reed, and all of JGR ran? That's what I ran. Think I gave it to my friend
Guess I'll do a Ti front. Need to offset the heavy ass 27mm caliper that Dougie D swears by...
Very specifically the 09 450 us the only one that works. I've got two of em if you need
It's going to billow and shreak in that Budds amphitheater bowl so violently that Beasley might wake up and put clothes on. Nah, actually, if you've been around the guys really cleaned up. Dropped weight, cut his hair, and the tracks better than ever. ... more »
This took A YEAR to get. I feel like I've been hooking and jabbing in the trenches for some of these parts. The pipe took 10 months, the suspension took 4 months, and the ignition took a year. I don't ever want to hear a single person in this service
I use the dishwasher to clean some small parts like holeshot devices. They're still cleaner going in than that pot you used to reheat indian food, so I don't get what the big deal is.. Couldn't find the engagement half. Sometime later in the silverware ... more »
The four stroke swing arm isn't a direct bolt on, the shock is offset left / right. I mean, it'll BOLT on...
You could just run a castor with a 450° flashpoint, you'd never have carbon, but you'd have to hang the pipe up and let it drip out of the stinger for a week. That's what I did with my road going twostrokes in Japan. 12K miles on an NSR, the pipes are ... more »
I need to measure it, it's midway between standard 250 between 500 stingers. It looks stepped too. Rich Daly used a computer sim for it. He did the pipe on Sharkey McFarlands MXdN YZ360. I think that one aussie guy has that bike. Last name is Hollywood, ... more »
Big time, typed this reply with one hand.
Guest rider doesn't indicate racer. To me, guest rider sounds like someone who rides, who everyone knows, who will be doing just that...sitting under the tent.
This is going to sound kooky, but bear with me Lead fishing weights are harder than the carbon, and softer than the pipe. They're cheap as hell in little bags. I'll bet about 200 of those inside the pipe concentrated around the first turn shaken vigorously ... more »
Two terms I use in my regular vernacular are "wife bike" and "truck gun". Dunno why the remind me of one another.
The F1 and MGP twostrokes are what I was referring to, it was coincidental.
The hunt is over. HRC L&M CR500R that won Namur 98 with Everts on it. I need one more year on super Evo (90-96) to run it as a 97 CR500. The real ones are done by Mickey Kessler. Dakota's dad. He did the L&M bike. Not that it's a difficult swap, ... more »
Prob just a +2mm piston. I'm gathering parts for my 2022 Farleigh bike, it'll depend on class structure. It's not this 125.
