Needing some help here... Can anyone that has a '87 KX, with the original (or a correct replica) seat cover, please take the measurements highlighted in red? I'm making a stencil for my seat, and I'm trying to make it as correct as possible.

Normally, the bottom clamp was clear coated.
I also suffer with migraines. I never, ever leave home without at least a couple of Naramig (Naratriptan) with me. Pretty effective and safe medicine. At the smallest hint of a migraine, I take one. Usually holds the pain under control, and I can function ... more »
Love those Acerbis handguards. The blue one on the photo you posted is mine. I was fortunate enough to find a few of them a while ago. All NOS. I also have a collection of frond disc covers and fenders. Here's the uncut pic.

"I just can’t help but feel a little silly riding a 25 year old bike out on a track fillled with Pro’s and modern bike?" I feel exactly the opposite. As long as you have (and you do) an awesome (or just decent) vintage bike, you will pretty much be the ... more »
Good article about improving the '87 KX forks. Not really useful, because of the impossibility to find such a kit nowadays(I think). Anyways:
Awesome videos. Watched them all in just a couple of days. And like someone above said, they are really inspirational. Well done, both the restoration and the videos. And owning (and having restored it myself) a WR500, I can't wait for your WR videos. ... more »

Beautiful!

This new intake system might be a problem for the 500AF conversion, which is the bike that Honda should be making anyway.

Apart from the bikes values, which I don't care much as I don't own them as investments, the "once I'm dead" part has been on my mind lately. I have 4 garage queens here that I don't ride. Sometimes I think I should just ride them and not care too much ... more »
Rory's bikes were my inspiration. Specially the WR500. I love those bikes too.
