The Beta's are really good looking machines. Curious if you've ever raced/ridden it in MX. How do you think it would compare to any of the Japanese brands or KTM?

The Beta is comparable to the CRF450x in my mind. It is really stable and has a really broad powerband, for motocross I would prefer a jap bike or a moto bike over the Beta. It is a little heavy and doesn't have the mid-range hit that you need to get over some of the jumps. I prefer to moto on the Beta 2 strokes over the 4 stroke because of the weight. I rode Kawasaki's before the Beta and I liked the Kawi better for motocross, but for desert racing I definitely prefer the Beta. The Kawasaki felt unstable at high speed and didn't have a high top end speed, where the Beta is really stable and can hit close to the 90mph range stock.
