Double or triple check ignitiontiming? Maby you can use a strobe if you kick it hard with plug removed? That would eliminate if the markings are wrong, you need to make your own TDC mark on the flywheel thou.

Measure the stock springs Eibach have dimensions in their catalog (they list 88 KX as N/A) and se what is close Guess Race tech can help also, if they have dimensions

We have same rules in Sweden, I think YZ 43mm is a good choise, thinking of price and availability. It would be very nice if it was possible to convert them to cartridge, like Honda/Showa 83 to 87

A little update, i found spec of the springs and the RM springs are supposed to be 10mm longer than the YZ springs, i guess the RM springs are worn.. so i just fab a distance collar, i made them from POM.

Yes, stiffer springs i need. The bike is a little more heavy than the RM125 they came from, and the rider is a lot bigger than the average 125 rider.. I can order Eibach springs, but want to find locally. Everything outside country takes longer to recive ... more »

Wet 2K is what the factory used? If you not going to race it, no need for powder coat. And its not fun to remove if you are not satisfied..
