Have you taken the XR forks apart and looked at the compression valve? I bought a set of NOS valves, and they look funky, some kind of cartridge where the shims bend/flex on the inside.. Nothing like my CR250 -88 valves. Please keep us updated about ... more »

Glad to help Remember to bottom the fork when tighten the adjusterbolt, so the bottoming cone is properly positioned

Forgot to answer you earlier, sorry! I did not record the dimensions, i made a "stept washer", the smaller diameter same as the mounting hole in lower legs and the lager diameter to fit inside where the protection rubber is supposed to be. I made mine ... more »

the shiny one is VMX i think, bought it from "VMX-Service" in Holland. tabs that go around frame is missing on DC panels. its good that someone is making this parts and as long as you know what you will get, i think its ok ... more »

When engine loose power, how does it sound when you give gas in neutral gear? If it revs slow, maby the crank is to wide? Spinns free when cold but expand when hot, and too tight in cases. You put in C3 bearings?
