I have upper and lower fork tubes from 16 yz250f great condition. Should work let me know. But I don't know what shipping north would cost and make it prohibitive?

Have you ridden the 21 yet? The set up is much better that you may not need to go that route.
KTM. I have had both in the last two years. YZ more stable on straightaways. Takes a lot to move the yz off line. Ktm turns better the tighter it is. They are still both very nimble. KTM is like XC mtb bike with steep head angle. YZ feels like more enduro ... more »
That's why they were let go last year and the factory effort went to Star! I think it was Keith Mcarthy and some one else that had been there a really long time...Might be wrong thou
The manual for that bike has a decent tuning guide in the back that takes into consideration temperatures and elevation. Probably a good place to start.

These forks are so much more plush than my 19 that is even revalved. I haven't had them in the rocks yet but riding offroad they are really so much more than I expected. They are to soft for whoops but awesome everywhere else in the sand. I'm at full ... more »
I have a 19 tx and 21 ex. For arguments sake the 19 tx is the same as the 21 from a fit stand point. The only difference in components that I've noticed is that the brembo clutch has more of an on off feel where I could feather the Magura easier. But ... more »
Rocky mountain sells plastic kits.
My 21 Gas Gas AER fork is much better off road than my 19 AER that was revalved for woods racing. Much plusher has much more action and moves better. This is at the recommended pressure vs a revalved fork that had modified air side besides shim shuffle. ... more »

The yzf used to be able to be bored to a 290. I just don't think they have a lot cylinder left on the newer bikes to go much bigger. Since the 2014 version of the yammi the biggest anyone has bored it is 276 with 270 being the norm. I think the jap manufactures ... more »
