Saw on Emig's IG that he is interviewing the owner of WW Ranch. Wonder if that is a sign of the event happening in Florida in 2021. From what I remember they usually announce future MXDN the weekend of nations. Hope this happens.
The banking would take away the fans or some at the least. It would be 10x better than Assen, and Daytona is actually rooted deeply in US motocross tradition. Looking at the track this year, I think Herlings and Gajser should show up. I think they could ... more »
Don't understand why it doesn't do a left then right then run the course in reverse, doesn't seem like the jumps would be an issue in doing this.
MXofN needs to happen at Daytona. The only negative is no elevation changes.
Was at Detroit. The triple crown format is something I liked a lot. I am fine with the normal format but I can see where the average joe wants to see the top 20 go at it 3 times a piece.
Ernee is very similar dirt to Washougal and Tomac is a straight up animal there. If Tomac is willing to go then it would be stupid to leave him off. Tomac, Webb, and Forkner for USA Redemption next year.
SX is just as much a discipline of Motocross as Sand Riding it in my opinion. If the Euros want to have MXofN at Assen then why the hell can it not be held at Sam Boyd.
Thought that came to mind as well. Could be a 3-5 year contract for the USGP possibly. After watching the national this year, the facility looks top notch.
Daytona is an iconic piece of American Motocross/Supercross. Daytona has been a part of motocross in the US since the start. All the accommodations necessary, viewing would be great, and you could even have moto 3 under the lights.
MXDN at Daytona would be epic!!!

I think a Creepy Open Letter will do the trick. Worked for Webb last year!
Was watching the highlights of the 2007 MXofN and they said in the tape it was supposed to be held at Farliegh Castle the next year. I know it ended up happening at Donnington Park. Was there a reason for this change? I can't seem to find anything regarding ... more »

Only time I remember Peyton beating Brady in the playoffs was 2008 and 2015. Eli Manning as bad as he is did beat Brady twice, he pulled a Shane Mcelrath at Budds Creek in those 2 games.
I am a little biased to Kawi so you have valid points there. I wasn’t to into the sport while in high school and college so I only loosely followed the sport from 2009-2014 and my memory has Villopoto dominating Dungey. Dungey was great rider, I just ... more »
Dungey fans ignore the fact that he never beat RV straight up. I'm a huge Peyton Manning fan but I can't rank him ahead of Tom Brady because Brady consistently beat him straight up. Both were great in different ways but RV was flat out better.
Villopoto still had more wins in 2010 with 3 less races. Dungey was a solid, consistent podium guy that took the win when it was there or the top guy was out. Even in 2015 MX, it took Tomac crashing out and Roczen nursing a back injury for Dungey to ... more »
Nice breakdown of the numbers. I believe had Villopoto not got hurt as much as he did that he could have got in Carmichael territory in championships, not wins. He threw away 2009 MX, 2010 SX/MX, 2012 MX, and 2014 MX. I know it's hypothetical but that ... more »
Name 1 championship Dungey beat Villopoto straight up. Villopoto had Dungey covered indoors and outdoors. Dungey was a great rider but never was at the level of Villopoto.
I was there. Loved the track and the facility. It was very congested in the middle but the was the best viewing spot even with the mass of humanity surrounding you. You could see 50%-60% of the track from there. Me and my dad spent most of our time between ... more »
Dungey never beat RV straight up for a title. Only when RV was hurt did he pick up the scraps.
