Awesome bike. Super clean! Doesn't look like its done a lot, you did well there. Interested to see how you like the steering damper? Have you ridden it with and without it to compare?

Yeah that is a no brainer, I had an 03 and it was a good bike> Yeah the 04 onwards is better, but that thing is too clean to turn down. It's still a cracking bike. That stinger tip silencer is cool af too!

No problem, thanks for the kind words! The G2 throttle cam is highly recommended. Gives you that extra throttle control in the first half of the throttle turn. The 2 cam options give you tunability to get the power delivery you desire, then if you want ... more »

Front wheel spacers are identical on the RM either side. Remove the front mudguard and sit on the bike. You can see fairly easily if the front wheel isn't square to the bars. On a side note, with regards to the bar mount. Remove the top bar clamp and ... more »

I've always thought the same. 50 hours on my 15 RMZ450 and not experienced clutch fade once. It did drag from new however. Simple fix though, I removed the judder spring and spacer, drilled the hub in the same pattern as a Hinson and had some clutch ... more »

Added reply in a thread Knee braces are cumbersome 2/14/2018 2:55 AM

Been riding 12 years with just regular knee/shin guards. I have tried a few braces but couldn't get on with them at all, probably because I bought lower end, cheapy ones. The main reason I've never got a pair is the cost. Hard to dump £500 on a set of ... more »

He just needs that extra 5% He's fast, super talented and races well (mostly). He needs to go closer to his edge and up the aggression. A lot easier said then done I agree, he is a modern day Windham, always just a little bit back from the front guys. ... more »

He was at the back, but looking smooth and having fun. Was quite nice to just hear a 500 ripping around Hawkstone once the meat of the pack had left him behind a bit. Only other Honda 450's were Harry Bradley and 1 or 2 others. Only 1 Suzuki. Couple ... more »

Could be a tough one. You will need to sand the scratch out. it looks pretty deep so will require a fair amount of material removal. To get it back to a similar finish I'd say use a coarse scotchbrite pad on a drill. But will likely be a matter of trial ... more »

Yup... I'd recommend it to anyone. Do the bike bit by bit, buy 10/15 bolts a month and you can have your whole bike Ti'd out within a year easy! I use eBay for about 90% of my bolts. For the more specialist bolts I use Pro Bolt in the UK. Their warehouse
