Will do. It'll probably be a couple weeks at least before I get the tire, though.

That's the choice I'm gonna go with then. And for $80, it's worth a shot. Thanks guys.

Reply to Best rear tire for a 125? 7/17/2018 7:13 AM

Sorry guys, I should've explained a little more. I'm not exactly looking for a mud tire, but a tire that'll be good in moist conditions, like when it's morning and there's alot of moisture in the track and it's really soft, and also good in hard pack. ... more »

New thread Best rear tire for a 125? 7/17/2018 12:26 AM

I have Michelin Starcross 5 mediums on my 06 yz125. The bike rides perfect in hard pack and dry conditions. But if there's moisture/mud, it's like riding on ice. I'm about 145 pounds with gear on, and I know that plays a big role, but there's gotta be ... more »

Reply to What trans box and clutch oil do I use for my yz125 6/26/2018 8:34 AM

I run ATF type F in my 06 yz125.. You can buy it at Walmart for $3.50 a quart. Since it's so cheap, I just change it about every 2-3 riding hours. Makes the clutch feel super smooth.

Forgot to add that I have Vforce 3 reeds, stock pipe with pro circuit silencer. Also, I run a br9eix plug and here's what it looked like after just 45 minutes. Sorry for the bad pictures.

New thread 2006 Yz125 summer jetting problems 5/24/2018 2:00 PM

My 06 yz125 had stock jetting and would always run perfect in 50-70 degrees with low humidity. Once it gets above that in temp, it seems to be rich. It would run pretty well, but the silencer would always be wet with oil on the inside and the power valve ... more »

Reply to k2 or castor 927 5/4/2018 6:53 PM

Both are great.. If you're really hard on the bike, then 927. I use k2 now and it's very good as well. It burns cleaner.

Reply to yz 125 carb leaks 4/25/2018 11:51 AM

I bought an 06 yz125 and had the carb leaking, bought a carb kit and installed all new parts and it still leaks. Not as much, but still does. It runs like a beast so I don't care much. Mine only does it when I get done riding and pick the bike up and ... more »

Thanks man, the Suzukis are good, I had an 04 that ripped for awhile but needed a cylinder replated and a new clutch so I just sold it. Hopped on a blue bike and I can't believe how quick it revs..

Reply to What 125 should I buy? 3/29/2018 6:52 AM

I've rode almost all colors of 125s.. Gotta say the blue is where I decided to stay. 06 and it RIPS. Good luck with your bike man!

Figured I'd chime in.. I used Bel Ray gear saver transmission oil for awhile. Really good stuff, but about $13 a quart. Heard about ATF type F at Walmart for $3.50 a quart. Compared them both and it's almost the same thing and works really well, clutch ... more »

The backside of the holes do have slight burrs. I'm not at all worried about that though. I don't see any aluminum filings. Just stuff from me touching it with my hands.
