The announcer said something about JS7 not racing but I could not hear exactly what he said. James did not show up for last practice session

I will be turning 51 in a couple of months. I had a mini bike as a kid, and later had a few friends with dirt bikes that I got to ride once in a while. When I turned 42 and my son was 10, I bought us both MX bikes (YZ250F and a KX65). Hands down best ... more »

Do any of you have a couple of tickets you would like to sell? My son and I are talking about making an overnight road trip to Dallas if we can score some cheap tickets. I tried the promo code listed above but it says there are no seats available.

Added reply in a thread Ok Who was at the Austin F1 Race and 11/22/2012 6:13 AM

My son and I went. We were there for all the activities on Saturday and Sunday. I am a huge F1 fan and this the first time I could afford to go, so I would not have misssed it for anything. Not even my first cousin's wedding (sorry about that). We were ... more »

Good morning friends. My son and I got back to Houston late last night so I am dragging a bit this morning. All I can say is it was an amazing event. Austin did a wonderful job hosting the event and the circuit was amazing, especially considering it ... more »

I am here in Houston with bigmaico and pretty much follow the same program. When I ride at Rio Bravo, I also ride on the edge of the track a lot to stay in the shade. Its not always the fastest line but cutting down on the time spend riding under the ... more »

I have ordeered OEM parts from them several times. They can take a while to ship sometimes, but their prices are hard to beat on factory stuff. Shipping can be a little expensive if you just order one part.

Added reply in a thread curious how many 40 yr olds vs 50 yr olds still ride or race 10/25/2011 11:50 AM

The 40+ gates are still about half to three quarters full on race day. The 50+ gates are usually around half full. However, on non race days, there are usually just as many dads in their 40's and 50's riding as there are younger kids riding. I think ... more »

Added reply in a thread 125cc MX & SX class for 2013? 10/5/2011 11:47 AM

I think the MX schedule would definately have room for it, as mentioned above. Maybe for SX, they run two 5 lap qualifiers, one 3 lap LCQ and a 10 lap main. On most SX tracks, thats an additional 25 to 30 minutes to the overall program. I would much ... more »

Added reply in a thread EVS Vision knee braces?? 9/27/2011 8:46 PM

I rode with the Visions for 4 years and they always did well for me. For the last 2 years I have been using the RS7's. I prefer the RS7s as they fit me better and seem to stay in place better. But I would definately wear the visions again. With the RS7 ... more »

Great to have you back BobbyM! You are getting a bit predictable, but it is good to have you back.

Pretty spot on. Many years ago when Mike got his first contract, Tony and Mike made an agreement. Tony would quit his job with Waste Management and would go to work for Mike (Alessi Racing, Inc.) full time and Mike would pay him the same amount of money ... more »

You would be surprised how fast bridges can get rebullt when a consistent top 5 rider wants to ride accross it.

Added reply in a thread 800 ? 7/18/2011 9:19 AM

I watched the races again last night and Mike got some decent airtime coverage during the first race. With 10 races left to score points in, he could sneak into the top 5 with a little bit of luck. 1. Chad Reed 300pts. Hon 2. Ryan Villopoto 294pts. Kaw ... more »
