Added reply in a thread Reed to LCQ for every round 1/25/2020 9:06 AM

Every time? No Tonight? Yes Probably at every triple crown unless he finds some raw speed somewhere. But he's way too experienced to not get in the main event. I'm not worried.

I would not touch Reed with that handicap. Friese is a very good pick, he's on my team. Webb is always good at these and at a 4 he's a very solid all-star pick. Other than that I'm waiting to see what the hot-lap heroes with high handicaps do.

There's still the LCQ, where most likely the most rewarding picks will end up (as in those with high handicaps). Top 18 go directly to the mains but in my experience it's the riders with 5-8 handicap that's the most scary.

Added reply in a thread Bad Block Pass Criteria 1/21/2020 5:48 AM

The first criteria must be to actually block something. In this particular event Ferrandis didn't block anything, he rammed in to the side of Craig.

This is only a problem if you crash in the first place. People are so hung up on electric start. It's so not necessary. People are so lazy these days.

Added reply in a thread Where does Ferrandis land next year? 1/20/2020 5:43 AM

My bet is KTM. If they can't fit him on RB KTM they can place him at either RMATV or Tedder for a year before they move him up. I doubt they'll get rid of Marvin if he doesn't want to himself. He's still a race winner year in and year out but I think ... more »

So you'd rather not have any rules and let the riders "handle stuff themselves"? Because anarchy usually works out fantastic.

Agreed

I would think Dylan knew full well that the move would probably result in Craig going down but I don't think he cared one bit that it was Craig specifically. We'll never know

Or this...

Added reply in a thread Ferrandis penalty 1/19/2020 7:57 AM

Ah yeah must have missed that. No Craig certainly does not. Apologize for the confusion. I just think it's a slippery slope if dangerous moves like this one is "ok" just because the victim has done something stupid in the past. Everyone on the track ... more »

Added reply in a thread Ferrandis penalty 1/19/2020 7:43 AM

It doesn't matter who it was. Dangerous moves like this one is never ok. We all know Craig has done some dumb shit but that isn't the point.

Added reply in a thread Ferrandis penalty 1/19/2020 7:37 AM

Just because Craig did something stupid to Alex doesn't mean Dylan has the right to do something stupid to him. Two wrongs doesn't make a right.

Added reply in a thread Ferrandis penalty 1/19/2020 7:30 AM

I just looked at it. 100% he would have made that turn. The passes has nothing similar about them. Not saying Zacho's was fine, just that you can't compare those two events.

Added reply in a thread Ferrandis penalty 1/19/2020 7:19 AM

Zacho didn't go down himself. Dylan did. Zacho would have made that turn even if Joey wasn't there. Dylan would have ended up in the mechanics area. Zacho's was for a championship on the last lap of the last round. Dylan's was at round 3 with more than ... more »

Sounds like a fast way to get a lot of injuries.

Added reply in a thread Ferrandis thread 1/19/2020 2:06 AM

I didn't see anything I'd call a pass . He didn't pass anyone. Matthes said it well. If you go down yourself, you did something wrong.

Spot on. I was genuinely concerned with how tired he looked. It's just amazing he could still go as fast as he did but man was he sending it. That kid has so much heart.
