one of the problems we had was the steel plates would egg out and cause excessive lash in the clutch. The thing with KTM clutch is they ride on steel pins so in my case the plates would just break instead of wearing the basket .if your dad missed this

can't see it being caused by oil he said it was only in the 19 bike for 13 hours, I'm sure it was inspected before being installed in his new bike.

That was an answer to the comment about the basket being so dirty, it had nothing to do with your filter.

with that many grooves the clutch had to be slipping really bad it probably bake the oil ,that's what you are seeing on the basket.

It was in 2014 and it was a 350 and no it did not have dampeners solid clutch basket and no dampeners like the two stroke on the inner basket.

I had something similar happen except it was the recluse metal plates broke got ground up and clog the oil screen for the pump uptake. It looks like the engine was filled with steel wool. Wiped out the whole motor on a brand new bike. I'm still a little ... more »

They're probably going to tell you that the clutch basket dampeners are bad

I have Verizon, yes with that not very good service though. I swear they purposely look for areas that don't have cell phone service to have gncc's

Great customer service would have been sending you the right parts to begin with, makes me wonder if this is why one of their clutches explode in my bike destroying the engine.

You also use your stock front brake from the KTM

I believe they're 48 they work with the stock KTM wheel, not sure exactly what year they are but they're from the early 2000s

Pretty sure the tank is different on the xc-w because of the frame don't think the SX tank will fit it.

They will never catch on as long as the battery life is so short. I think more people ride Offroad than they do MX.

I always noticed when flipping directional tires they were quicker when in the wrong direction. as far as setting your bead if you don't have a valve stem in the rim take a blow gun and blow air into tire and it will pop through the valve stem hole.
