they knew what they were getting when they hired him that's part of the reason that fans like him because he's so outspoken and not a robot like most Factory Riders.

I bought a brand new Husky last year and the service team did not tighten anything on the bike. Drain plug was loose, etc. Personally, I don't trust service mechanics from dealerships. In my opinion, they are unqualified. I take my bikes to reputable mechanics who are...more

you're going to need a set of torch cleaning files to clean out the Jets

Added reply in a thread KTM 85 2018 idle problems 4/25/2020 7:50 AM

yes the first thing I would do is definitely clean carburetor. if the bike revs out with no problem and it's just an idling issue then like I said originally clean the pilot jet 9 times out of 10 this is the problem.

I'm pretty confident it's a dirty carburetor I highly doubt it's the main seals, when looking at the reeds look for any fraying or chips hold them up to the light make sure they're closing tight. if your right side crank seals bad the bike will be smoking ... more »

Thanks DC I always wondered this but never asked when he was around, I was always too busy laughing to get into any serious questions I think he missed his calling as a comedian lol.

I would still clean the carburetor to especially if it's been sitting with pump gas in it.

Does it idle with the choke on if so your pilot jet is dirty.

I'll always wonder why when stories are done on Tony they never mention his time at Husqvarna. I've met him quite a few times over the years because the shop I work for the owner was good friends with him and help him bikes during this time. I've never

You say you have the customer's best interest but you giving the bike in the crate so they can put together their self. KTM dealerships aren't supposed to do that I know some do,its part of their dealer contract that the bike must be assembled by the dealer. And no I did not pull that number out of my ass, the dealer I worked for passed away and the business was closed, I have bought bikes from two other dealers since then and that was their fee for set up along with other dealerships that I call for pricing. Give cernics a call and ask them, they have leftover 350s right now for $6,900 once they get done adding all their fees on the bike is over eight grand plus tax. At least when a customer called us the advertised price was what we sell the bike for not some BS to get you into the shop and then tax shit on later.
