The chain should not have that much playing in it. Could be the chain is stretched and tensioner is fully extended and not put enough pressure on it also don't reuse the gaskets.
I have ttx cartridges on our KTM , instructions say to use stock oil level for the forks not sure if it's the same for yours.
You're absolutely right the course was on easy side and fast kind of like Camp Corker be interesting to see how he does at something like snow shoe where there's more rocks then dirt

This , KTM recommends 10-50 10-60 or 15- 50 depending on which bike you have nothing wrong with running a cheaper oil but I would definitely use the recommended weight for my engine. I would not run 5-40 in a bike that calls for 10-60 say like a 350. ... more »
If the bike was seized you have to look at the cam sprockets on Suzuki they will spin, you think you have the bike in time but you're actually out , there's holes in the cam sprockets that should line up the cam lobes.
Yes, with your idol backed all the way out . on the old throttle bodies 11 + 12 you don't need to worry about the idle
I put these on quads for a few guys they seem to work just fine. I figured I better add I didn't use this exact carburetor but similar knock-offs for quad. I also put a few on Honda 50s for $10 you can't go wrong
