It's usually caused by a rock being in a corner, you keep hitting every time you go around in the same line.
You don't need any special tools to release it, just stick a screwdriver down in front of the chain push the chain against the guide and the tensioner will release.
If you watch the movie on Any Sunday they were saying the same thing about Japanese bikes that are being said about this bike.

The only thing they took from Husaberg was the RFS motor, they bought Husaberg back in 96. Just like husky they blew those bikes out for like $5500 it was the first 4-stroke I ever bought it's hard to believe Husaberg was getting 10 grand for them. When ... more »
What I usually do in a situation like this ,i go to website like Rocky Mountain ATV look up the wheel for the RM then look up the wheel for the YZ and see if the part numbers are the same. There's a lot of parts that cross over.
It's not that hard. if you have a fork seal driver cut up an old inner tube to wrap around the Chrome part of the fork put the fork seal driver on and pinch it in a vice add some heat and a dead blow hammer and they screw right off. the hardest part ... more »

KTM claims you can remove the forks and reinstalling with the Drum in ,I never found a way to do it ,I put the two shafts in with the forks on them and then install the drum.
Be careful on the type of solvent you use, do some searching around you'll see where guys have ruined heads by dissolving the aluminum.
Make sure you mark your shifting Forks not sure if it's like a ktm but if they are there different and there's nothing in the manual to tell you which one goes where and no identifying marks. I also Mark the location of the shift Forks on the shift drum ... more »
Love the way that stuff smells, just be careful if you're riding in temperatures below 35 degrees it will separate from the fuel, you need to Shake It Up. Bottle says with race fuel but I had it happen with pump gas also.
