I sold one of my kids race bike (ktm 250 xcf ) with 500 hours on it and the original crank the new owner rode it for two years before having to put a new crank in it.
Don't see any mention of you changing the inline filter they need to be change every 20 hours. Also as mentioned above your fuel pump just because it's running doesn't mean it's putting out the right PSI,And after you check that the last thing I would ... more »
If you Are you running Brake pads that squeal like a real hard race senter, that's what's breaking the spokes. Had the same problem almost couldn't finish a race so many spoke would break on the brake side of the wheel. Ask the same question on KTM talk. ... more »
You worded your complaint wrong , it should have been your frame snapped causing you to crash... as far as the guys ragging on KTM at least they stand behind their products and take care of their customers.
Problem with the gas line is that their made to fit the XC tank also so the gas line is on the long side.
Well that's number four, 😂I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine who works on race cars he told me that is probably around 36 foot pounds the 180 degree torque so this kind of makes sense. he works on some expensive stuff so I trust him.
S*** I thought you worked for them to 😂 I used to be like that for certain product that I don't care to endorse anymore my kid always asked me if I was on the payroll.
I actually had a reused one in a bike that was ran. it was a while back I don't remember what the guy did wrong but he didn't want me to buy new gaskets cuz he just bought them. it worked that's not something I would personally do my own bikes, once ... more »

Just like I posted, member on here tells me it's still 35 foot pounds he just did his bike. KTM tells me step 3 is 180 degrees , the manual on my phone says step 3 is 50° . I now have three different Torx for the head just need to know which one is right
Okay and now I'm even more confused the above gentleman says the manual hasn't changed still 35 lb he's going to send me copies of the pages later, and thank you. manual that I have my my phone says 50 degrees and I just got off at the phone with KTM ... more »

I got that from a shop manual online. do you have the 19 shop manual it would be the same , maybe the one I was looking at was european-spec .I think it did say Corolla replica which I don't think they brought to the US . I have to go look at it again ... more »

I'm trying to convince myself the same thing basically nothing looks different from the pre 2016 engine and 35 lb was fine for them. I'm hoping to get a hold of somebody I KTM and they tell me just send it, until then my OCD has me overthinking it lol. ... more »
