About Me
I raced in So Cal back in the 70's and raced at Indian Dunes mostly (CRC and AME)and loved the CMC night racing at Irwindale and Ascot. Of course did Carlsbad, Saddleback, Rawhide, Valley Cycle Park and others.
I was so friggin poor I never had the resources to compete on a steady basis and many times had to beg a ride to get my bike to the races.
I made it to the local pro ranks and did race one AMA qualifier to enable me to enter a National, which I never did. I got a Suzuki B ride in 1976 (free bike and $1,500 in parts) and in 1977 I got a ride from Maico West (250 and 440). Since I couldn't consistently make it to the races ($$$) I gave up and quite in 1977 to make a living (I was 19 years old).
I didn't ride again until 1985 and have been riding on and off ever since.
I don't race Motocross anymore (no real driving desire) but have been racing the SCORE races in Baja and also the Best in The Desert Series.
I some how ended up falling in love with racing in Baja and was on the championship winning teams in for class 50 in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017 and just won the championship for 2018 in class 60.
I was also on championship winning teams for Best In The Desert in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2017 in the 50 expert class.
But most important is the people I have met in off road racing and I have had the time of my life!
