I would think with expanded attendance it wouldn’t be as difficult to get tickets.

I'm not saying he doesn't have potential but I am surely not labeling him the next messiah yet. He hasn't hung with AC on any other track and has had 4 finishes outside the top 10 in a weak West Division. I just don't think this past weekend was the ... more »

Based on one race on an easy track? Little premature maybe.

Added reply in a thread Empty seats 1/23/2019 7:59 AM

We have to remember that 40k+ is a stuffed full baseball stadium (Anahiem) in most cases, but will look like alot less at places like Glendale, Indy, and Detroit. If there is 50k in there they are making plenty of money. I got great seats for $40 each ... more »

Hmmmm....the city is great but it is a largely tech based industry which usually doesn't line up with blue collar motosports. The venue is great for football in the fall, not SX in the spring. Two years in a row of crap conditions. (Move it up in the ... more »

But you can't just calculate based on raw material and labor. Just because HRC already has spent the time on the developing the drawings, etc. and can just press go and it will start cutting, you still have to consider that is a couple hundred thousand ... more »

I think its time to find a new venue, other than the rainiest city in the country during the rainy season... That was some serious sticky clay, almost like cement drying. I am still enjoying all the comments from the cross-country guys that say "we ride ... more »

Regardless if HRC Japan provides them to HRC US they still cost Honda money and have to be calculated in the total cost of the bike. These machines are easy $100k+ not including the labor, testing, etc...and even if you have a hundy grand laying around ... more »

Sometimes you just have to put it away. I strapped my down so it wouldn't move and the wind still bent it so bad it wouldn't fold up. I don't know the limit but when you are talking 30+ mph gusts that it usually enough to turn it into a kite.

Added reply in a thread The flagging is amateur at best 3/26/2018 5:54 AM

I think it was AJ Catanzaro yelling at flaggers after he went down and someone slammed into his bike as he was getting up. They need to direct riders and put themselves out there a little bit if they need riders to move over.

My point exactly, thank you. The 11 A class riders that show up (and probably ride for free) aren't keeping the doors open. Tracks can be fun/challenging and still allow the Vet riders to survive and go to work on Monday, the Novice riders to stay safe ... more »

I hate this jump more than any other jump in Michigan. I really wish they would only use it on their big race weekends. If you short it, then you bounce to the flat. If you go long, you bent stuff or break yourself. Even worse, if you don't do it then ... more »
