Added reply in a thread Sorry Gypsy, but Jett not as talented as James Stewart 9/18/2021 12:12 PM

I like Jett and I think he'll be continue to be successful but its way too early to think about comparing him to JS7. McGrath, Carmichael, Stewart, Villopoto, they all hit the pros and started consistently winning immediately, these are the generational ... more »

Added reply in a thread Adding some garage space 2/26/2021 7:03 PM

Concrete definitely isn’t cheap. My parents just redid their driveway, $55K. I couldn’t believe it. I have a whole new perspective on driveways now.

Disability insurance really doesn't cost that much. I carry it happily and have since I got my first real job. It's nice not to have to worry about going to the poor house if you get hurt and can't work. I was a mechanic for 16 years so there was no ... more »

Added reply in a thread that 450 main was insane! 6/7/2020 5:38 PM

I would argue Eli's drive is what made that exciting. The smart play would have been to get second and sit on a fat points lead. He didn't need to challenge Cooper, he wanted to. Hell of a race.

Added reply in a thread Keep or Sell? 6/7/2020 5:33 PM

Sell it and buy a 250XC. I battled flameouts on my 2014 450xcf. I had intermittent hard starting too, threw hundreds at it trying to fix it, remaps, sensors, filters, etc. Never fixed it. It never left me stranded but I there were a few times I thought ... more »

I think its cheesy AF too but if people want to pay for let 'em. I'm sure Feld is hurting for revenue.

Added reply in a thread Is Cooper Webb the real threat to Eli? 6/6/2020 9:57 AM

At this point in the game the only threat to Eli is himself. He has all the riders covered in pace, he just has to go out there and execute. If Eli had someone likes RV's mental game he would be looking at his third straight title (but he doesn't). I ... more »

Added reply in a thread How can(could) the Japanese manufacturers just hand over the market to KTM? 5/30/2020 4:41 PM

I dont race or ride on tracks, I ride single track but its insane to me the market share KTM has in my neck of the woods. Sit at the trailhead on any given day and KTM outnumbers all other bikes combined, probably by two to one. Not sure what the track ... more »

Added reply in a thread Quarantine Sales 3/24/2020 7:07 PM

If it goes much longer i think we will start seeing some sales. I think interest rates dropping have pulled some people off the sidelines but that will be short lived I would guess. I've also noticed some used bikes popping up on craigslist for cheaper ... more »

Added reply in a thread EXC / XC 300 carb vs TPI? 3/18/2020 7:29 PM

Get yourself a 19 xc with a carb. My buddies 19 300i has had to be towed out of the trails 3 times.

Added reply in a thread How to uninstall GYTR flywheel 05yz250 3/18/2020 7:26 PM

This man is correct. The gytr is not a flywheel weight, it is a complete flywheel. Get yourself a flywheel puller and stock if you're installing a weight you'll need a stock flywheel first.

Added reply in a thread 2013 KTM 350SX-F Clutch Issue 3/8/2020 5:01 PM

I would agree probably just air made its way up from the reservoir hanging like that. I've had the best luck with reverse bleeding with a big syringe. It can make a mess your first time but you'll eventually figure it out. Theres a good video from Rocky ... more »

Added reply in a thread Financing a New Ktm 450 3/8/2020 4:50 PM

As long as you don't go out and get all bonered up by the new bikes in the showroom and let some greedy dealership assholes stick you with a 17% interest rate loan, I don't see a problem buying a new bike. Negotiate a good price, don't accept a high ... more »

Added reply in a thread KTM master cylinder rebuild 2/13/2020 10:01 PM

I bought a rebuild kit from slavens and I was surprised to see what showed up was a kit from all balls racing. I’ve been burnt by all balls garbage twice so I would have returned it but I was in a rush so I installed it anyways. It lasted about 3 months ... more »

Added reply in a thread Dungey 11/3/2019 2:45 PM

Here's my take on it. Take the years both riders lined up at every race look at who ended up with the titles and you will see when that happened, RV won every single one . I don't even like RV, I was a Dungey fan all of those years but I can admit that ... more »
