Added reply in a thread 2014 vs 2017 250SX parts fit 12/22/2016 11:26 AM

It won't fit, I ordered one for a '17 and had one for a '16 sent by accident. Was wondering what the heck I was doing wrong when trying to put it on, then I read the packaging.

Yeah, I have 12 hours on the bike, no complaints about the forks so far (this is uncommon for me). I really didn't like the 4CS forks, which lead to quite a bit of concern about the AER forks. This is the first bike I have owned with air forks so I had ... more »

I love everything about my 2017 TC 250, besides for the carburetion... Which has been a total headache so far. I actually went with a Lectron which broadened the power spread (in stock trim there are a lot of quick shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear) and cleaned ... more »

I actually wrote about this awhile back. The Truth About Why Motocross is so "Dangerous" These Days I have some added thoughts though - I do think that protective gear has improved, but people need to be willing to wear it AND willing to pay for the good stuff. A little research will show you that there ... more »

Added reply in a thread which crashes in SX this year would less power eliminated? 3/25/2015 8:57 PM

I would say the "less power" argument applies more to lower level riders than top pros... C rider stops in corner and can still make the big jump, rather than needing to carry speed.

Added reply in a thread Has anyone tried these Emig lock-on grips yet? 10/21/2014 8:19 AM

I don't notice any increased vibration reduction vs regular grips, but I do like them a lot. Maybe switch to some rubber mounted clamps if your bike doesn't already have them?

Typically it's the EPS inside the shell that determines the size in this case, not the comfort foam. Shoei offers thicker comfort foam for people who are in between sizes.

I have been using them for a couple weeks now and really like them. You can't beat the ease of install vs glue and wires. They are decently soft and much easier on my hands than the Renthal Dual Compound Diamond grips I had on before them. The left grip ... more »

I haven't worn them much, but so far I really like the Alpinestars Fluid Pro knee brace. Excellent adjustability, lightweight and comfortable. The adjustability is huge for me personally because I tend to land somewhere between size medium and size large. ... more »
