Anyone want to speculate or shed light on this tank that is on eBay? Not a 77-78 RC replica but looks more like the 79 RC tank. Maybe a Holly tank or modified by someone

Mike, Thanks but you and I are looking for the same arm, and I was hoping that was what he had. Sounds like we are doing the same type of build which is like what swatdoc built. Pk
Frank, Are you selling the swing arm. I would be interested PK
Just like the rest of your bikes, I’m sure it will be super trick.
I was too quick when looking at the add to correctly identify it, was hoping to find a nice trick part for my bike. Not so much luck!
I pulled that picture off of eBay. It is listed for a 250 but just looked at the pictures and the Petcock is on wrong side for a 250
Could be, I thought it looked bigger then the 125 tank. You may be correct Joe

You guys correct me if I’m wrong, I thought the rule of thumb was 1 on the countershaft was equal to 4 teeth on the rear. So, you would have the same ratio from 11/46 to 12/50
Very nice work, look forward to seeing the continued progress
I powder coated mine satin black on my ‘79
Stevie, The question I would have for using your swingarm on a 78-79 is, the brake rod will be too short with the extra 2 inches, and with a brake arm that will work on a 78-79 and extends long enough for a 1980 will be too short as well. PK
Thank for the part number, that will help me out!
Thanks for looking Mr Sandman, those are the head stays for a 78-79 CR 250
Thanks guys! I have been checking eBay for a while, and also have not been able to find the Honda part number for the tension bar. I knew this might be a hard part to locate.
Need help finding a part for a 1975 Honda CR 250. It is part number 5 in the schematic, tension bar

Restocycle does a great job at a very fair price. Part to include carb look like new
Bike looks great! Will look forward to seeing the finished product. Mine is still slow going. In the mean time swatdoc keeps collecting more CR’s and Newman I just can’t compete with his collection
Full Circle rims laced up on powder coated hubs and Buchanan Spokes
You are into more cool stuff it’s had to try and keep up!!! On a side note: if Stevie comes up with a cool red rocket swing arm and I can’t get one(I’m sure you will) and you want to get rid of one of those replica arms you have let me know
Thanks for the info swatdoc and influence to get more made. Do you know what Holly is selling those for?
