Added reply in a thread Problem with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC..UPDATED 19 Aug 8/15/2019 3:13 PM

I have to say Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is at the top of the game. I work on other people's bikes at times and over the last 7 or so years I have placed more then 60-70 orders. Some orders may be as many as 20-30 small individual parts for a motor. Of all ... more »

Nice bike!! I'm almost done restoring a 82 RM125 and would sure love to have this one. They really had a great motor back in the day

Added reply in a thread 2006 CR250 RC Valve issues [With Video] 8/14/2019 11:46 AM

I have a 07 with a good bit of motor work and I noticed in the past with the cover off it had some fluttering but not quite as bad as the one in the video but I was still concerned. On the track the bike runs perfect and tells me the RC valve is doing ... more »

For more bottom and mid the best thing you can do is base cut the cylinder .025"-.030" to lower the ports and adjust the head accordingly and get the squish around .030". If you only want to run pump fuel you will have to remove material from the head ... more »

Very nice build. I had a 82 which was pretty much the same bike as my 1st real MX bike. Those bikes use to scoot pretty good.

Added reply in a thread anyone venture out and build a vapor blaster/ wet blasting cabinet 7/29/2019 3:56 AM

This is pretty cool and your parts came out nice and clean, sure beats the hell out of scotch brite and elbow grease. What media are you using for your slurry mix? A good idea after the parts are cleaned is to seal the parts with Alodine 1001 to prevent ... more »

Added reply in a thread 2005 kx125 Finished!! 7/25/2019 3:18 AM

Let us know how it runs and list the motor work you have done. I have a 03 KX made into a 144 and it’s very strong. The last gen KX125 cylinders are pretty much a YZ clone and we all know how well the YZ runs. Too bad not many KX125’s are out there

That thing is absolutely ridiculous and over the top!! Mitch Peyton would be proud. Lol. I rebuild and restore bikes as a hobby, it takes a lot of time, patience and money. You my friend deserve to have that bike put in a magazine and have a write up ... more »

Read my post again carefully mxjorrit... I didn’t call Cooksey and idiot. I said some of his point made him Sound like an idiot. There is a difference.

Maybe we should ask Tomac if he was broken by Webb.

Well I must admit you take Angry criticism well. We’ll have to agree to disagree on the “broken” thing. In my experience when a rider is broken they don’t charge until the end like Tomac did. Again, if you take out the Tisdale blocks (and its very apparent on the TV coverage...more

This was the first dominant ride Webb has had all year outdoors, and it was in the mud. Let's see what he does at the next round before we start calling him the alpha dog.

You gotta love it. Cooper wins one race and all the sudden he is going to take control. Also while not winning every moto this year tomac has been very consistent and that's why he is almost 40 points ahead of 2nd place. In my opinion tomac will get his 3rd championship...more
