Keep up the build, it will be a nice ride. Got my 125 1997 rebuilded. This winter i have to get the frame coated, build some nice wheels for it and a graphic kit with seat cover. Overal it is a low hour cr125!

That is a good thing about sharing your build and help each other out! With those old bikes finding new parts / or useable is not always easy.

Put new gears in, the look really rounded off. Maybe you can take them out and look how worn they are?
That is stock casting, don't spend to much time on it. Makes no difference

It's not the ratio, but the hours on the crank.
That is a really nice base to start with!
I also use vapor blasting for clean ups. When the bead is new the result can be just a little to white. What i do: mix 50/50 with old bead. Later on i added some black pigment to get rid from the white look.

Great find! My pick would be: oem style graphics with oem style plastic Cerakote instead from powdercoat Keep her going!
